Everyone needs to chill!

Post#1 » by Montanajazz » Tue Mar 29, 2011 3:03 pm

The Jazz have no real point guard playing. The absence of Kirlinko shows his real worth, and going the whole year without the inside/outside play of Okur all have really hurt the Jazz. It's not all Corbin's fault!! Stop needing to lay blame. We jazz fans are so spoiled about being in the playoffs we have to have a scapegoat when all does not go well. Look at the positive. We get to see 3 athletic young rookies play their hearts out every play.(Hayward, Evans & Favors) for the rest of the year. We have 2 potential Lottery picks in June. TheIr will be player personnel changes and a new year in 2011/12, Not a new coach. How about some positive re-enforcement for Corbin, instead of all the BS!!! EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHILL !!!!!

Nobody expects this team to win, that's a given, but who really expects MUCH more with a healthy team. Does anyone really even expect that this team can ever be healthy? How many games did Boozer/AK/Okur play together? I doubt it even reaches 40%. Okur is likely washed up, AK has already been playing for 15+ seasons professionally, and the list goes on. Corbin is garbage, Sloan was able to leed a squad with Ostertag/AK/Harpring/Giricek/Arroyo to 42 wins, so Corbin has no excuse. We just lost Deron freaking Williams, good luck replacing that. I'm very optimistic, I like Favors and Hayward, and if Evans ever pans out he could be very good too. I don't know about Harris, lets see him at full strength and with some more time.

Lets not lie though, if you had the choice of taking back Sloan right now, you'd do it in a heart beat. This just the beginning of our misfortune, then there is Mathews, Korver, Brewer, etc..

Regardless of his past threads he has a point...the Jazz clearly gave up the best player in the trade with the Nets....combine that with the injuries and the shock of losing Sloan and we should have expected a rough patch....alot of people wanted Corbin to play the youngins and now that he does everyone is realizing what he already knew: The young guys do not know how to finish games....that said I'm pretty optimistic about the Jazz's future

I'm totally chill. The loss last night didn't bother me much at all because I've already written off this season as far as wins and losses go. I'm more concerned with player development and building chemistry for next year.

I am concerned with the Ty Corbin/Al Jefferson rift that's developing. Something to keep an eye on...

I just think Al doesn't think they are out of it when they are. There are 6 free agents, the team is going to be completely different and a different training camp will happen. They will get another assistant, hopefully an established name in coaching, everything will be a fresh start in October.

He did say everyone.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

It's pretty clear Corbin isn't ready for a head coaching job.......

We obviously need more experience on the bench.......

Injuries haven't helped either......

But, it's not a good sign when the Coach alienates the best player on the team for no reason.......

You really think getting ANOTHER new coach is gonna solve this teams problems? You still expect people to still take you seriously?

An assistant Coach with a world of experience would do this team a lot of good......

The Jazz have a very inexperienced Coaching staff, and it's showing in the games.......

Hmm, why wouldn't I be taken seriously? I was right about Sloan losing this team.......

You got me Good, 59th sound! I'm working hard to let change happen. Positive change. Thankx for feedback. The Jazz will turn it around starting next year. A lot less ego on the team without Sloan and Williams. Maybe the Jazz can be a team once again!!

Is it really Corbin alienating his biggest star? Or is the frustration just finally boiling over? Al thought he was finally going to win and make the playoffs and now they aren't doing either one. Not to mention he got benched and the team actually played pretty well.
