Insightful and thought provoking post. If we don't draft a guard, then maybe. Let's keep this going.

Yes to all, but only real serious interest in Nene.

The Jazz lost money last year, I think we need to consider all avenues in order to increase revenue... perhaps a return of of John Amaechi would put some rainbow buts in seats.

Not even close. Stuckey's value is pretty low, and so is that pick's. I might do the 12th pick for Stuckey, but it's a long shot.

As fan's we tend to over value our players, however Stuckey is worth way more than the 12th pick especially in this years draft. i realize favors value is high, however he's still raw, so its more of potential value.

We traded DWill for that potential so it is worth a lot more to us then Stuckey. Plus he has quickly become a fan favorite. I'll trade you CJ Miles, Raja Bell, and a slice of bread for Stuckey.

Re: stuckey
Stuckey's a RFA so it's not like he's going to be traded. Jazz would have to offer him a big contract and I can't see them doing it.
I personally don't like his game much.

Re: stuckey
this is the worst draft in years and stuckey is not that good. Favors is the tits! I have an interest in Nene though.

Re: stuckey
i thought you traded D williams for favors and a crap load of picks. Stuckey is still a project in detroit, he shows so much potential but doesn't play to it. He averaged 25 points 8 asst, and 2 steals for the last 6 games. when he wants to play he's a beast. but he's more a SG than PG. i figured with our glut of guards and your glut of bigs, we could work a trade. i'm guessing you guys will draft at least one big with all your picks. which spreads the minutes. would you guys get rid of milsap?

This draft isn't that bad, there is still value in the first round, its just more raw, and you obviously haven't watched stuckey, cuz he is good, or at least better than favors. (i understand he's been in the league longer) my point is favors is still all hype and stuckey is a proven great defender and can score. (minus consistant 3 pt) why would you want another big man?

Players like Stuckey are a dime a dozen. A guard who can score... sometimes. Players like Favors are a rarity. Like they say, you can't teach size. I do like Stuckey, just not when compared to Favors.

You obviously haven't watched Favors. Stuckey is no better than what we have in Harris, and I certainly would never trade Favors for the likes of Devin (and again, the 12th pick would be debatable).
