#12 is essentially the second round this year.
Advantage: KOC!

Yes, Cherokee Parks! He really pioneered white-guy tattoos in the NBA.

The 12th pick has generally sucked maybe we should package the pick in a trade.

Re: #12 Pick history since 1995.
If you'll notice a trend, there is Parks, Doleac, Potapenko, Ely, Swift, Radejovic....I mean that list is a who's who of big (usually white) stiffs who were over drafted just because of their size. In every one of those drafts, there was a better option left on the board. If this does anything, it warns against taking long shots on bigs that aren't top 10 worthy. Look at the recent draft picks and the list is much better. Thad Young is a very good player who just needs to find a situation where he can flourish. Henderson is developing into a nice perimeter stopper. Thompson will be a great 3rd big for someone after he moves on from Sacto, where he has been severely mis-managed (they play him at the **** 3 for crying out loud!). And we all like Henry last year, and I think he has a chance to develop into a quality floor spacer and defender.
With all that said....I would love it if Jonas Valanciunas falls to us there.

Re: #12 Pick history since 1995.
I agree, while it does look like it's clearly a terrible choice to take a big at 12 because by then all the truly good bigs ought to be gone, I have a feeling we take a Euro big that slips this year.
