Probably the biggest head in the NBA right now.

Very athletic, but very naiive. Doesn't understand that it's his job as PG to make plays, not chuck shots. Doesn't know when to stop, and doesn't seem to realize that he has KD on his team. It's ridiculous how much better the thunder do when he has 6 or more assists.

There are plenty of worse PG's in the league, but as far as top PG's go, he's the biggest joke out of all of them. He'll be the PG the league wants him to be in a few years, but for now, he's just a kid chucking up shots.

I'm working on an erudite23-length post on why Westbrook is a great player but a poor fit for OKC. I'll post it here just as soon as I'm done.

Because of the direct relevance to this franchise and who it chooses in the upcoming draft.

He's a lightning bolt. But the shot distribution for OKC is not winning them any games.

8th PER in the league this year, simply meaning he's a phenomenal offensive player. Higher than Dirk and Rose.

9th in assists per game, despite his high FGA's, he's dishing the ball at an elite level. Top 10 in the league.

6th in Assists percentage, over 40% of buckets his team scores while he is on the floor are from his assists.

4th in steals per game at nearly 2 a game.

4th most free-throws made this year, meaning he gets to the line a ton, and converts when he is there.

Is he flawed? Absolutely, averages a lot of TO's, forces bad shots, doesn't defer as often as he should, but what players don't make those mistakes at 22?

Comparing him to Starbury is an absolute joke, Starbury was never as efficient as Westbrook is, never got to the free-throw line like Westbrook, and his teams never did anything in the playoffs like Westbrook's team has done this year.

I understand being jealous of OKC having him, but I don't understand all this unwarranted hate.

More Steve Francis than Stephon Marbury, I think. While you ponder that, here are a couple of lookalikes...

I'm not going to lie, I'd take him, but he has a lot to work on. He downright hurts his team far too often.

He is part of the all ninja turtle team

Russell Westbrook - Leonardo
Maurice Evans - Michelangelo
Al Harrington - Donatello
Sundiata Gaines - Raphael

Westbrook is definitely Raphael. He would help his team a lot more if he'd stop trying to be Leonardo.

you forgot zach randolph

westbrook puts up gaudy numbers largely because he is so ball dominant. i'm still not convinced that he is helping his team much. i can't think of another "superstar" player in the league that makes me marvel at his poor decision making so often.

Scott Brooks stuck with Eric Maynor for the entire 4th quarter in OKC's win tonight.

Good for Brooks and Maynor.
