Like I proposed earlier, we will have the opportunity to draft either Kanter or Williams at 3, do you then trade Millsap and the 12 to Cleveland to Toronto to try to get Knight at 4 or 5?
I really hate this idea. All the Millsap trade talk, it seems people are forgetting how good of a player he is, and he is also on a reasonable contract. To dump him to move up 7 or 8 spots in the draft, I just really don't like it.
If we take a big at 3 (Kanter or Williams), I'd much rather keep Millsap and then draft a guard at 12 (Jimmer, Selby, Jackson). Also, we do have Devin Harris, and don't necessarily have to get a PG in this draft. I'd be pretty happy if we ended up with Kanter and a wing like Singleton, or Williams and a a 2 like Burks or Thompson.
If Sap can accept his role as a 6th man, he could really thrive. Keep Millsap!
