Solid Defensive Stopper - Chris Singleton

I don't think the Jazz should take him with #12, but if they came accross a good deal for a first rounder in the high teens, then Chris Singleton may be a solid prospect.

It all depends on who is available at 12. Most of the players from about 12-18 don't seem any more appealing than Singleton. Someone from the top has to drop for him to be a reach. Kawhi, Burks, etc. Unless one of those guys fall, I say go with Singleton.

Do you think that Minnesota would take raja for the 20th pick? Then we hope that Singleton is there at 20. If not at least we get rid of raja.
Also, Does anyone know if we buy or trade for another first round pick outside the lottery do we have to give it up to the T-Wolves because of the Big Al deal?

If he's a defensive stopper, 12 is just fine.

Sounds like he is doing well in team workouts.
Florida State forward Chris Singleton defended so well against one of the draft class' best scorers, Jordan Hamilton of Texas, in the Golden State Warriors’ workout that he was ready to seek out established competition. Namely, Al Thornton - a top-notch scorer who is also from Florida State.
Singleton, a lanky and nimble prospect, is considered by many scouts to be the best defender in this year's draft. The back-to-back ACC Defensive Player of the Year is one of only five players to finish among the top five in the conference in both steals and blocks in a single season.
