Eric Maynor?

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Thu Jun 23, 2011 3:24 pm

Maynor is the one that got away because of money issues, and the fact we had Dwill. Well, you want him back along with pick 24 for pick 12. In essence, we would be trading Jimmer (pick 12) for Maynor and Montejunis/or Mirotic (pick 24).

Im not sure the guy Okla City wants will be there at pick 12, but if he is, Im not sure how the Jazz dont do it, and stockpile more talent. I like Jimmer alot but Maynor is a sure thing ready to start allowing us to trade away Harris asap for a SG.

Depends what is done with the #3, if we keep it and take Knight then this trade won't happen.

and btw Wes Matthews is the one that got away...

If we take Knight at 3, no. If we take Kanter, I think I would.

No, Jazz have to draft Jimmer even if they need to trade up. Maynor is Harris.2, they are close but it is not an upgrade, they are similar, Maynor is a better facilitator but overall he's not as athletic, in two or three years that could be different, but then maynor will be a fa by that time so why trade away (Jimmer) when he will continue to get better he's still on his rookie contract, Uta might be in a good position at that time to attract the right fa pg, or one to team up with Harris, I think Jimmer adds something to the backcourt with Harris already on the roster, while Maynor would be a duplication of a skillset that already exists.

I am getting sick of this Jimmer talk.

If we get a pick back I would consider it.

If we get a pick back its a done deal in my book. Maynor ran this offense very well. I went crazt when we drafted him, i was pissed when we let him go.

So we trade our #20 pick only to then get him back for the #12 pick....I don't follow.
