LOL, you've never seen either player have you.

Love this trade for the Jazz, also love the direction of the rebuild.

The Jazz have been able to build up tons of valuable assets without having to give away good talent for more draft picks. The Jazz will have a fun team this year if it exists, and going forward Harris, Millsap, Jefferson, and the GSW pick are all very valuable potential trade pieces.

Did anyone on the forum acknowledge yet that I called this combination back in May!

I love it. I wanted the Kanter / Burks combo so bad, but figured the front office would think both were too risky. Thank you Jazz FO!

This dude is gonna be way better than CJ. He actually draws fouls ... and can finish at the rim.

CJ has an incurable game IQ. I haven't seen Burks play but he surely can't be as stupid as Miles is in his playing time.

We're now just a PG short. I wonder what Harris (unless he wants to stick around and realise his suitable role as an expensive backup combo guard) and Millsap/Jefferson will fetch in the trade market.

We should all hope the Jazz re-sign AK, otherwise there won't be a soul on this team who will play defense.

And as of right now CJ Miles is the starting small forward.

well but Burks sound stupid on that pre draft interviews, you got that eastbay interviews and only Kanter, which obviously dont know English to good, answer quicker that Burks on all those questions, guy is definitely not Jimmer/Knight type of guy when it comes to intellect.

The Jazz are showing trust in Harris.

Sap or Memo for a shooter

Millsap is the most likely to be traded. My preference would be to trade Jefferson.

For Memo you're not going to get anyone who doesn't have a terrible contract. I'd rather keep him and let Memo and Enes build a Little Istanbul in SLC.

Kanter and Favors aren't going anywhere.

I hate when the Jazz play against guys who make their living at the line, we always end up in foul trouble, and it seems like every time that player decides to drive he ends up at the line.

And for that reason I am in love with the Burks pick. He is going to frustrate the hell out of other teams because he will live at the line. We have needed a guy who can get to the free-throw line since Karl left, Burks is that man.

Ed Davis is who I wanted last year, I was pushing him really hard going into the draft.

Before that The Sheik and I were both talking about Eric Maynor before anyone here was talking about Maynor, we both loved him, and after the Jazz picked him we were stoked.

Before that I saw Koufos falling and cursed it. I didn't want him at all on draft night, and hated the pick. I liked him mid way through the season because he showed promise, but fell apart. I wanted DeAndre Jordan when he was falling.

Before that I wanted Almond, blew that one, but at least I picked it.

Before that everyone know it was between Brewer, Carney and Thabo, I didn't care who we got there.

You can't really determine a persons intellect from an interview. I have heard athletes give interviews where they fumble through their words, don't sound great, and are uncomfortable on camera and later I find out they are Magna or Suma students.

Give the guy a chance.

Jeez can Jazz fans be happy about the picks for once?

I wanted Knight more than anyone, you all know that, but we got Kanter. Now I give him a shot and support him.

Besides. Hasn't Derrick Rose already proven that you don't have to be an honor roll student to be successful at basketball? ??????????????

Hey guys,

I wanted to give you some info about Enes Kanter since you guys drafted him from the third seed.

When he was in Istanbul, I used to play with him in the same team which is Efes Pilsen. I was 17 years old and he was 14 but we were in the same team since he was pretty tall and talented for his age.

Well, his personality is just great. He is very mature and you can never see him spoiled. His father is a professor and Enes is coming from very rich family. Therefore, money will not change him as we see some young players in the NBA, soccer or NFL. He is always passionate at what he is doing and worked really really hard to get here so far. We used call him "a person who leaves his heart in the court" which means he plays with his heart and gives %100. As a Jazz fan, you can never see something like boozer in Enes.

First of all, he is a very good player and very completed talent. That is being said, he is a good rebounder. I am sure if he gets a good amount of minutes, he will have something 8.0 rpg. This guy can score, I don't even mention that but what amazes me about Kanter is that he is like a Nowitzki type player. He can drive in, get the foul and one situation but also he can shot pretty good from 3 pointer or right inside of the three point line. Also, he has - I would say - the highest basketball IQ I have ever seen for a person who is 19 years old. You will see him on the court, I guarantee you, you will never say; "he shouldn't have done that". He knows what he is doing and he knows what he is capable of. He never pushes the limits until he gets embarresed. He can start the game with 4/4 FG but if he shouldn't take the fifth shot, he wouldn't take it.

It is a great pick for Utah Jazz. If you guys can get something for Milsap, Enes will be even better for you guys.
