WE WANT A DEAL!!!!!!

This has to really end. Its the worst possible thing to see rich people fight over our money that we have not even spent. I love the NBA but this is ridiculous that grown MEN cant have had this handled years before we even got to this point. IMO I think as soon as they strike a deal for this current CBA that the immediately return to the table to start working on the next CBA contract. As a person who respects and loves the game politics always have to get in the way. I just wanted to voice my opinion to my fellow Jazz nation. Lets hope to a new deal and get back to the game.
Now that I got that off my chest, what do you think the Jazz first move will be after the lock out is lifted? Do we try to add players to the roster before trying to trade players? Or trade a player(s) and then try to build around a acquired player?
What I personally think is that the Jazz are not going to go anywhere with out a leader, there is no one on this current roster that can be a leader in the next year or two. I think we have some good pieces in place to be potential leaders and all-stars. We need to give up a good player or two to get a veteran leader to mentor these rookies and sophomores. That is what kept us competitive for so many years.
I think the Jazz front office first phone call(s) should be is acquiring Danny Granger after of course re-signing the players from last year roster. I am willing to give up Milsap and Hayward to get Granger. This trade works under current CBA and still should under the new one just depends on Franchise player structure.
Its even something I believe would benefit both teams. Hayward is a Indiana guy that people love as well as GM Larry Bird. Milsap would be a good fit to run with Collison and Ford. Granger would be the experienced vet and go to guy we need. Granger has three years on his contact so that wouldn't be to big of a commitment. With Granger in his prime and change of scenery I think he would thrive in the situation in Utah.
Jazz 2011-12 Roster
33 Danny Granger SF 28 6-8 228 $12,015,904
19 Raja Bell SG 35 6-5 206 $3,240,000
0 Alec Burks G 20 6-6 195 ?
40 Jeremy Evans SF 24 6-9 196 $788,872
15 Derrick Favors PF 20 6-10 246 $4,443,360
5 Devin Harris PG 28 6-3 190 $9,319,000
25 Al Jefferson C 26 6-10 280 $14,000,000
0 Enes Kanter F 19 6-11 262 ?
47 Andrei Kirilenko SF 30 6-9 235 ?
34 C.J. Miles SF 24 6-6 232 $3,700,000
13 Mehmet Okur C 32 6-11 265 $10,890,000
17 Ronnie Price PG 28 6-2 187 $1,381,250
11 Earl Watson PG 32 6-1 195 ?
I think this could be a good if not great team in the next couple of years, we have so many assets right now its crazy. We would need to acquirer another guard some how either thru trade or free agents but what do you think you would do or change?
