Jazz fans in Southern California

Post#1 » by DelaneyRudd » Sat Nov 19, 2011 7:32 pm

I am the newest member of the SoCal Jazz fan club. How many people out there live in Southern California? Anyways I love the weather and hate the traffic. I'm walking around in shorts and a T-Shirt when everyone else has on jackets.

Already met a few but if you are from here I see no problem with them being fans. Its nonlocal Laker fans that are unbearable.

I did the SoCal thing for a couple of years, and watching the Lakers beat the Jazz in the playoffs year after year there sucked. Now I'm in Oregon and I'll assure you that Blazer fans are a lot more friendly

Culver City, where I walk too much I may actally lose a few. I had to park 2 blocks from home a few days ago. Definitely great food. I could live off of Chego which is Kogi Truck's brick restaurant.

King Taco. Will do if I see it. LA certainly seems like anything is either the best or the worst. If you appreciate the best things, and don't care too much about the worst things it's amazing.

Moved out to LA last fall - I live a block from USC where I go to grad school @ Marshall/Leventhal. I grew up in Sandy, UT though and I'm a diehard Jazz fan.

Accepted a job offer last week and I'll be working in LA after I graduate so def a SoCal Jazz crew member signing in! We should get together to watch games! 8-)

I love SoCal but being surrounded by Laker's fans is definitely sucky. Add to that the fact that Staples Center/LA Live might be one of my clients next year makes it even worse... I'll probably end up being a de facto Clippers fan lol

I won't call myself a Clipper fan but I will talk them up amongst the locals. I dont like fans of the Uof Spoiled Children either, but University Containing Lotsa Asians arent cool either. I will root for CS Northridge because they have a great radio station.

I'm going to watch the game in a public place and I just realized my gold Packer T shirt will give people who cant see the graphics a poor impression of my character and hygein. :(

Works. Culver is a production town. Plenty of hospitality, West LA, Santa Monica, Venice, Mar Vista, Sawtelle, Westwood,Beverly Hills, Culver, Marina Del Rey all are in the area. I know a young man with the spirit of the noble buffalo who needs a roomie.
