Absolutely spot on.
The argument that I have heard over and over that bugs the crap out of me is, "well the owners put themselves in this position with the way they did business"

I just don't follow that logic, yes I agree that they did in fact let things get to where they are, I just don't understand why that means they shouldn't fix things.
Kinda like telling a drug addict that he should just keep on using because he let himself get that way.

I really disagree with the headline which asserts that Derek Fisher is the "poster child of a spoiled NBA player" but I put that on the headline writer, not Mr. Benson.

Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with an NBA player spending $3k on a suit? Seems like only a few years ago the NBA instituted a dress code because the problem then was that these guys didn't look good. So now they look too good?

I really think we need to get over Derek Fisher.

Like, everyone else in the world outside of Utah is really disturbed by it and I'm starting to get disturbed over it.

As much as I don't like Fisher, I think Jazzfan is right. That article really doesn't shed any new light on the current situation anyways.

for me the article isn't really about fisher, It is more about the NBA and the spoiled players in general and how out of touch they all are.
they all (owners and players) need a reality check.
I still find myself leaning the way of the owners, I would like to see the system fixed in a way that benefits fans. From both a competitive and a cost stand point.
Regardless of past mistakes things still need changed.

I loved the article, especially because its about Fisher. Nothing wrong with calling hypocrisy what it is....
