More interested to see who we use our waiver on to clear up some space.
Memo makes sense, as does Bell. Thrilled to be talking real NBA again.

Re: The Official Free agency thread
I rather to have Memo one more year than Bell 2 or 3 more...
Memo is playing well in Turkey, he can be more usefull than Raja.

Plus Memo's large expiring conract can be used in a trade...... I think Bell gets waived......
I don't think AK will return to the Jazz.......

Re: The Official Free agency thread
I think he'll finish the season in Europe and consider signing somewhere this summer wi a contender. He's playing extremely well right now and is doing nothing but raising his stock.
If he waits until the summer he can get a bigger contract in the best situation possible.

Re: The Official Free agency thread
I still feel that the Jazz should bring back AK. Always have, always will.
Watson is a no-brainer. I know for a fact that the Jazz are very interested in bringing him back.
I'm really interested to see if Millsap gets traded right away or at the deadline. Top two targets for him would be Danny Granger and OJ Mayo.

Keep Watson, let AK walk unless he'll play for the minimum,

Re: The Official Free agency thread
I think AK is pretty valuable, and he wants to be here. Then, he knows he has been "stealing" Jazz, so he would play for less money than in any other team, but still he would want more than the minimun.

The more I think about it, the more I think we bring AK back for his versatility. Having him available at the three and four makes it easier to tweak the roster.

Re: The Official Free agency thread
I see Wilson Chandler is a free agent. I'd love to pick him up if we don't bring back AK.
Harris/Watson/Burks
Hayward/Burks/Bell
Chandler/Miles/Hayward
Millsap/Favors/Kanter
Jefferson/Favors/Okur
That's not a bad team at all.

I'm not sure. The only player I know that doesn't have an opt out clause is JR Smith. Classic JR.

Chandler is stuck in China for the year. He doesn't have an opt out.

Re: The Official Free agency thread
What do you think about trading Harris for Calderon?
Harris probably a bit better, but Calderon could help space the floor better and is a better passer which will help Favors.

I think he is.. easily could try a FA/D league and save some $$ in the process. I don't remember him doing much anything last year (although he has talent and can defend well..). Tough call.
