Watson in Utah

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Fri Dec 9, 2011 7:34 pm

Earl Watson sighted in Utah according to Lock on Sports tweet. Good sign hes staying in Utah. Watson, Tinsely, and Harris plus maybe Price seems like too many PGs. Any possibility Harris is a goner for the alleged "Athletic Shooter"?

Reports are coming out that Earl Watson is coming back to Utah. Deal should be done and finalized within the next couple hours.

Having Watson and Tinsley as the back-up points would be great........ An no Price, icing on top of the cake......

This is great news. I wasn't all that enthused about the Tinsley signing when I thought he might be our #2 PG, but now that I know Watson's coming back, I feel pretty good about our PG situation. I don't know if Tinsley has anything left, but, based on the possibility (even if it's small) that he's still some semblanace of his former self, I'd probably rather have him as the #3 PG than Price.

happy for the jazz. sad for price. maybe he can go back to sac and back up jimmer.

but harris, watson, tinsley guard-line is definitely better.

Three veteran PGs who all want playing time. Is dealing Harris a possibility? I would not mine Tinsely starting with Watson as his back up if Harris got us a 2/3 starter Allstar type talent "Athletic Shooter". As you can tell I am far from a Harris fan as a PG.

Excellent. Watson is an excellent backup.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.
