Doesn't sound super serious.
Again, we need 7 teams to finish worse than Golden State, and there are several teams capable of doing that.
Guaranteed to be worse:
Cleveland - one of the guarantees IMO.
Charlotte - another guarantee.
Toronto - the last of the guarantees.
Should be worse:
New Orleans - unless Gordon explodes, this team should be seriously awful.
Detroit - I like their young players, but they lost Rip and are over paying for Prince and Stuckey.
Could be worse:
Sacramento - Team could be terrible, even with Jimmer.
Utah - We could go into a full blown rebuild if Vets look bad early,
Phoenix - I think they are old and terrible, but Nash could keep them alive.
Houston - this team is a mess, and trade rumors will always be relevant.
Nets - haven't changed their roster much at all from last year, they sucked then too.
Right there are 9 teams that give us am good chance to get a the GSW pick this year, some will be better than expected, others will be worse, but I think we have a good shot a seeing a pick in the 8-10 range this year.

Well with Curry starting hurt and Ellis' sexual harassment distractions, this is certainly a bad start for GS.

We've had a thread like this for the past two years running; why should this year be any different?

You are forgetting Washington, who is terrible too. Minnesota has some nice new prospects in Rubio and Derrick Williams, but I can't see them being better than Golden State.

We need GSW to be bad but not terrible, and the funny thing is we could go into the last game of the season where we might need the Jazz to lose to get 2 lottery picks. Its a weird scenario with this GSW pick.

This is bad news got Jazz fans. GS had the chance to be in the bottom 7 before this happened, this greatly increases their chances of dropping down there. We should be praying for Curry to comeback... and that's not just for our picks' sake, mind you...

Curry was trying to defend Jimmer Fredette's crossover at the top of the key when his ankle gave way.

Go watch the video, Jimmer had nothing to do with it.
