Hayward! The Jazz have no half court offense without him bc our PGs suck balls.

Hayward was clutch, but Favors dropped a boom tonight.

I think the first win should go to the overall team effort.

I should've included Al Jefferson's ankle as an option.

Unfortunately this is a true statement. As much as I love Al and his game it just is to stagnate for our offense and need to trade him for a pure fluid offensive player.
But I think the true player of the game goes to Big T for that national anthem it really set the mode for the night. Calm and collective.

Harris had a good game but my vote went to DF.

Hay for his game defining last shoot.

I'd give it to Hayward just because he facilitated so much on the offensive end, but Favors is quite an easy argument to make as well.

Alema and Thurl said it best. It was a win by committee.
In fact, By Committee is a good identity for the Jazz. Because they aren't going to have one or two players who are dominate every night.
When they win, it will be by group play--all of us or none of us.

Hayward for hitting the shot because CJ or Devin was going to screw us until he hit that shot.
IMO CJ should be benched for entire 4th quarter if it is a close game.

1A - Derrick Favors
1B - Gordon Hayward
Favors played terrifically inside and out. He's everything I wanted him to be. I know we'll only see these kind of performances in flashes for the next while, but sooner or later, he's going to be this guy nearly every game.
Hayward did everything right. Took only smart shots, and set up a ton of great plays. I remember him saying he was working on his ball handling skills early in the offseason, and you can tell that's just what he did. It's a shame a lot of his brilliant passes lead to missed shots or fouls.

Favors made the big numbers, but Hayward was as important as him.

Agree with this. Hayward created a lot of shots tonight and hit that huge one late.

Hayward can creat much better when he's in at the 2. That should be his position period. I believe that Harris can play the "Tony Parker - really fast, get in the lane, get to the line, primarily scorer" role for us while Hayward can be our "Ginobili - does a lil bit of everything but ultimately is the main playmaker". The problem is that when they play with Bell, no offense, no defense, no ballhandling, defense can concentrate more on them and stop most ball movement and fluidity we could get on offense. I also believe most of the hate Al gets can be atribute to playing with Bell in the lineup.
Remeber, the Spurs, Parker and Ginobili played with Bruce Bowen at one time, the main difference is Bowen WAS a lockdown defender at 6'7 and 7' wingspan, and actually HIT his open corner threes. Bell doesn't hit the broad side of a barn wide open, and can't defend worth **** anymore. I think once Bell is benched for good, you'll see much more fluidity on the floor even with Big Al.

Great point about Harris playing the Tony Parker type role while Hayward plays Ginobili type role. Love that, great comparison for playstyles. It is a great example of those two play styles working together.

unfortunately Harris is still far from being as productive as Parker is, but we gonna see what will happen in further games

Hello elo

Exactly! Comparison of the duo Hay / Harris to TP-Manu is very impressive, but unfortunately, Harris plays more like an poor

SG than solid PG which was in the Nets.
But Howard was delighted me in a game with the Spurs. That's exactly Josh Jazz need from the bench.
