Rookie surprise

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Sat Dec 31, 2011 5:02 am

I think all of us thought Kanter would not play this year as only 19 and had not played BBall in a couple of years. I cant beleive how effective he is and he is already a great rebounder!

Burks has played little but showed flashes and hopefully gets sometime.

Overall I am shocked at Kanter's early development!
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Kanter's done as well as you could ask a young guy in his position. I'm heartened by his play so far as well. He has a good nose for the ball.

Brooks, such a shame we didn't draft him, he will be great sg in future, great skill set, and great length

Marshon Brooks was one of five players I had on the list of guys I thought would do well with the Jazz. I liked Klay Thompson, Kanter, Burks, Biyombo, and Marshon Brooks. I figured if the Jazz traded down for the either the 12th or 3rd pick Brooks would be a good choice. I thought his overall game was going to be good. But I also thought Burks deserved to ahead of him.

After watching Kanter, he's going to be much better than Biyombo. Biyombo is a project, but you can't teach size and wingspan.

Another guy that's going to be good that went late is Norris Cole.

Burks, Brooks, and Shumpert are all the next Kobe Bryant.

Great to see a guy fit in like this with little play. He has proven in 2 gsmes hes no MoAlmond or Joe Alexander who will be out as soon as possible. He will have a career.

We really need a beast on the boards and Kanter has the knack, size and attitude to be that beast. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

Kanter's hands are so fluffy! I love it. He is a monster on those boards. Oh and, YUM:

Agreed. He plays so much better at the two. I think it puts him in the middle of the action a little better than the three, and that means a lot to the team because he is such a good passer and totally unselfish.

what i see for this moment Burks skill set puts him more on pg spot than on sg one, if Harris fail in few next game i would really like to see Alec playing lot as our pg.

This might be the best solution to get Burks playing time. Dude can handle the ball. I like it.
