15-25 min a game is fine for the young Rookie maybe start next year.

I agree. I'd like to see more, but what he's getting is good enough to help him develop quite a bit in his first year.

1. Utah will not make play-offs this year.
2. If Utah makes play-offs (Very unlikely) this year, it will be beaten at the first round.

So Utah's purpose this year is to develop its young players. And you know how the players develop? By playing especially if the player was unable to play last two years. :-(

The question is if you want to win 5 more games or see your young players better develop?

not until he can start converting around the rim. he has great rebounding instincts but he gets lost defensively and i cringe every time he misses a layup (often).

This is why he should get more minutes, by playing he can be a better player for 2012-2013 season.

it's not like he's glued to the bench. he's getting a good run and missing a lot of wide open shots.

he is 19 rookie he cant play to much either, on eurobasket he puts better stats and still didnt play much more exactly because he is youngster, youngster who didnt play last season.

His minutes are fine right now, 16-17 minutes a night is fine for the first month or two.

Alec Burks on the other hand...

Burks needs to play more.

We are so desperate for a wing that can dribble, finish or find the open man its disgusting. Good news is he's on the team, bad news is he's sitting on the bench.

This. We seriously need to move on from Raja, it's only going to get worse. Send him to the D-league, give Burks all his minutes.

I think that 15 minutes are about right, for now. He has to gradually get into playing shape and adapt to the NBA game. I'm encouraged to see he can already have a good impact in some areas of the game but we can't throw him in the fire right away. I expect his role to grow bigger in a few weeks.

Also agree with everyone mentioning Burks. I know it's early in the season, but to see him only getting garbage minutes while having to suffer through 20 minutes per night of abysmal play by Bell is simply mind-boggling. I love Raja but he's done and having him in the rotation makes no sense whatsoever.

15 min is ok, at least until he improves his defence rotations and his shots.

As for the SG spot, Raja is more and more disappointing, i'd start CJ or Howard and use Burks as an energy booster from the bench.

Exactly, he can hit those and I don't know why hes not taken any of those shts

The same reason he won't make a pass to anyone that's farther than a foot away. He doesn't want to make any mistakes.
