26 and 10....2 of those blocks were on one play, and Sanders still scored.....

I probably should've included Earl Watson up there: 8 assists and 3 steals despite no points.

Not only did Al have 26 and 10, he also had 3 steals and 2 blocks. Most importantly he attempted 9 free throws. That's nearly a week's worth for him!

Al for sure, really nice game tonight. Our offense sucked tonight for the first three quarters and Al made the most of his opportunities. Good to see him bounce back.
If we could shoot 28 free-throws every game we'd be a much better team.

I love that Al is getting in position to draw charges. I never saw that last season.

My PotG goes to Alec Burks-- for getting a lot of minutes, and hopefully proving to Corbin that even his rookie mistakes are worth more than Raja Bell's minutes.
Jefferson had the better game, but Burks was all I could look at tonight. The kid had 6 assists, and drew 10 shots from the stripe. Not shooting great from the field, but he's taking smart shots for the most part-- still obviously adjusting to the NBA. He's good defensively-- gets lost every once in a while, but he's a pest for the most part.
Just can't wait until his shots start to fall.

I missed the game, and I'm an Al Jefferson fan (I think the hate for him here is unreal)...but how did he let Gooden pound the offensive glass so hard?
Flash backs to last year when Millsap and Jefferson would give up an incredible amount of offensive rebounds together.

Watson played as a pure PG, no fireworks, no scores but as a leader and mind of team on the floor

I missed the game, but see Favors got 5 blocks. Wow.
How did it look....did he stuff them so badly they were afraid to enter the paint?
5 blocks is a big deal.

Jazz are at 1st place in the NBA in blocks per game category - 7.5/per game.
Also Jazz are the 8th team in the league in steals per game - 8.67

Our defense is better and better...
