Are we a playoff contender? If the Jazz beat Memphis at home then GSW on road then definitely yes. If we lose both then we definitely are not, and if we split then still unknown.

We barely beat two horrible/injured NOH/MIL teams At home. i dont mean to be the pessimist here but i'd hold your horses on the playoffs assumption, this team hasn't proven that to me yet

Still believe we are a 26-40 team. I.E. no way we are a playoff team.

Ha ha a lot has to change for us to make the playoffs. How weird is it that we are in one of the strongest divisions this year? Crazy... It will make it much more exciting but I just hope we don't get hammered this year. OKC Portland and denver are dang good and minni is much improved

Mark stein reported today that ZBo's injury is more serious then originally thought so that will help our guys inside if he is not playing

Zach Randolph is out 8 weeks.

No Z-Bo is a good sign, one of our bigs will go off.

I think Al will likely struggle with Marc Gasol for the same reason he always struggles against long defenders, but Millsap, Favors and Kanter should be able to do some damage against newly acquired Speights.

As long as Howard is back, I'm predicting a win.

This one will be tough. Memphis has some talent & experience.

What about Harris & Howard?

They have traded for Speights... He was playing great his first 2 seasons, then he dissapeared.
This year he still has not played.

This game will be tough but I think they win by 7 points or more

I think we'll lose, even without Randolph they are still a pretty good team, and Speights isn't a complete stiff (nor is Arthur). We'll see though, I'd like to be surprised.

NBA is all about momentum and if this group can get some confidence I like are odds. If Jefferson can learn to pass out of the double team , Bell can hit some shots, Harris plays decent, Howard becomes a form of his old self and Kanter and Favors can be a defensive duo then we are a playoff team.

too many IF

They played well yesterday in Minnesota. Still, they don't have too many power inside, without Randolph. Gay was forced to play as PF so, we can try to explode that part.
With our C and PF we can try to make Gasol to have foul trouble.
