I believe that if we start with Bell we'll lose. That's a guarantee that we will start looking like ****, get behind and the bench will hae to pick it up for us. The problem is our bench will probably not look as sharp as they do at home in terms of coming from behind, and the game can get out of reach quickly (as has happened in the other 3 road games). If Corbin finally decides to bench Bell, then we could start out much better and our bench could maybe be able to play with a lead for a change. That changes things. Hell, even KOC hinted that he too is pissed at Raja playing...
“Coach is doing a great job of playing the guys who are competing,” O’Connor said. “If you aren’t going to compete, not going to guard people and not doing what you’re supposed to out there, you’re not going to get on the court. You have to earn things. Nobody is going to be given anything.”

why Corbin, WHY???

A good start is essential for this game...... If we don't start well, I fear it's going to be a blowout.......

That's the problem with Raja Bell starting, a "good start" is almost impossible. We may start the first 4 minutes trading buckets, but eventually they other team will pull out to a 4-8 pt lead untill the 3 min. mark when Bell finally exits the game. The thing is, at home, our bench has come in and undone the damage and either close the gap or take a lead by halftime. But, not so much on the road.

I still can't even come close to understading the coaching staff's insistence with Bell starting when he's not helping in ANY POSSIBLE WAY OR FORM our chances to win. In 7 games (4 wins), Raja Bell has yet to have a possitive impact on out team (+ -). And is the only player out of the 13 man roster to haven't had a + outcome.

He CAN NOT PLAY ANYMORE!!!

Hopefully Howard starts instead of Bell.

Totally agree. Even if Bell starts hitting shots and playing defense, those contributions will eventually transform into detriments to the team later on. He truly is the worst disease to ever hit the Jazz.

Also, the way he treats the rookies is deplorable. I think he is using a Hayward voodoo doll behind closed doors.

What makes you think he is mistreating the rookies?

You have to watch the available footage really closely, but I have seen him shoot the evil eye at them more than once. Who knows the subtle, myriad ways in which he is destroying their lives in the locker room and on the chartered flights around the country.

I don't buy that. The guys at the tribune made something out of nothing.

That you would even accuse the venerable media of such a thing shows clearly where your intelligence level is.

Bell is the real evil here. He is a villain. I won't even consider you to be a true Jazz fan until you begin posting anti-Bell statements on every thread, regardless of subject matter.

LOL, Paper Face is just being sarcastic in the Bell topic, and is pulling y'alls rope. Still, the fact remains that Raja is the lone sore spot for the Jazz right now, so I don't get why people get upset because others want him out. It's not like he is doing anything good out there. Tony Allen lit him up last game. Tony Allen. His numbers say it. + - says it. Your eyes say it. What is so hard to understand?
