Jefferson had a hell of a game. 30 12 and 2 is hard to pass up but Howard brought a lot of energy. I'll still go with Jefferson.

Re: Game 9 Player of the Game
Jefferson did a better job than usual acting like he was part of a team offense on route to his stats, so it should go to him.

I say jefferson. He played team ball and came up huge. Runner up to howard his jump shot was on as well and he also getting to the line. WISH Cj's game was like his just play in the system and not settle the jump shot but also try to go to the line mix up his game more stop trying to force the shots. Even Raja is starting to buy in and go to the rim.

Re: Game 9 Player of the Game
I voted Jefferson because he was unstoppable, but I just want to say that Howard is a perfect small forward for this team. He's aggressive, he attacks the rim, he brings a lot of energy, and he's a savvy veteran that knows the NBA. His game tonight was brilliant.

He cuts to the basket and it's awesome.

Re: Game 9 Player of the Game
Honestly, even when Jefferson is having a good night, his shot selection and gameplay usually frustrates me to no end.
Tonight wasn't one of those nights. Jefferson was great tonight.
Millsap was great.
Howard was great.
Favors was great.
Too many fouls among these guys, though.
But yeah, Jefferson. He's earned at least a week of me not hating on him.

Al Jefferson is making his case for the all star game. He's playing like an all star right now. This team looks great right now and hopefully we can make it a game tomorrow vs LA

Big Al was unstoppable....... It was fun to watch him just abuse the Cavs...... I hope he does the same thing to Bynum tonight.......

My only concern is Al had to play 35+ minutes again, so he'll probably be the most tired player. I would actually want Millsap to dominate, but Millsap had his "huge" game last game also, which makes him exploding tonight less probable. Of course, LA also played last night so we can hope they are more tired than us. I'd look for Favors to beast more off the bench than anything else. Also, hopefully Hayward can get going and we take it to them.

Siempre con mi isla del encanto!!

Re: Game 9 Player of the Game
Yeah, Hayward will need to step up if we are going to win (and Harris as well). With Bynum and Gasol in the middle I'd expect we'll have some problems.

Game 9 Player of the Game
Great game by Al, BUT he won't get those same post-up looks against the Lakers. I expect that Al and Millsap will struggle tonight.

Re: Game 9 Player of the Game
Bynum's minutes over the last two games : 63
Gasol's: 78
Third game in four nights for LA... it will be an interesting game.
