I gotta go with (shocker) CJ Miles. Paul was great, he outplayed Blake and helped us get off to a hot start, but CJ allowed us to keep the starters off the court and play the young guys in that third quarter.

Very nice game for all three. I love it when CJ attacks and flys to the basket, it opens up his dish assists to Jefferson and Milsap.

I have to go with Milsap. One of the most underated players in the NBA if not thee most. He is very well deserving of an All-star appearance. He proved that tonight.

Miles played mostly smart; he attacked the basket, got steals (4) and did a nice job grabbing some contested rebounds.

But I gotta go with Millsap. He set the tone both offensively AND defensively. Really impressed with what I've seen from him this year.

Is it time for Corbin to put the 'C' on his jersey?

No option for the bench? I would have voted for them. I was very impressed they didn't lose the lead at all, and they kept playing hard even when the game was all but done.

Amongst the options probably go with Millsap.

CJ had a few bad ass boards that put him over the top of Sap for me this game.

CJ was great. He played a perfect game. BUT! But. Millsap shot down Griffin and scored 20.

Millsap got Griffin to quit early in the third and the rest of the Clippers followed suit.

Millsap's momentum from the very beginning is what set the tone, and fueled this victory.

I'm all for more people winning this award, but Millsap is earning more and more respect each game.

Sap is a beast.

Gotta give it to Sap. He knew people thought he was the odd man out. He said wait one god damned minute.

Cj stepped up when hayward was truggling. He fueled the bench, he kept the clippers from getting back into it. He kept the momentum going for us to help build the lead. Paul is great, but CJ was the best all around player last night.

Sap, but it's true that CJ has to play like that, and not trying to shot from 21ft every occasion he touch the ball in offense.

We can make a project of MVP player by Realgm Utah Jazz.

We can make some rules, for example:
If you're the player of the game in a win = 2 points
If you're the player of the game in a loss = 1 point.

I said that, due to, for example Burks is the player of a game we lost badly , but it's not the same be the POTG when your team lose by 20 than in a win.

HappyProle... this is your idea, How do you want to make it?

I like FJS' suggestion for MVP.......

Player of the game, should be Millsap, but I ended up voting for Evans...... I just like Evans...... He needs to play more......

Game 13 Player of the Game

Post#17 » by StocktonShorts » Wed Jan 18, 2012 7:14 pm

I was thinking we'd have a separate poll at the end of the year including the 3-4 players with the most PotG awards. I don't think we'll need to weight them based on wins/losses. Over 66 games I think the top performers will be pretty consistent regardless of the game outcome.

I'm fine with that.

Tough one between Sap and CJ, but it has to be Sap dominating Griffin.

Evans is quickly becoming my favorite player to watch. He is ALWAYS exciting and high-energy, makes some ridiculous plays, and is probably my favorite post game interview. The kid is pure in every sense of the word. I really hope his career is long and prosperous. Those oops, swat, and his near dunk of the year were just a blast to watch.
