So the other night I mentioned that we should make Paul the captain -- but I don't think it suits him. Ty needs to put the 'C' on Watson's chest and put him in the starting lineup.

It might completely destroy what's left of Harris's seemingly fragile psyche, but I think it's the right move.

Al, although I could give it to Earl just for not being Devin Harris.

Watson gets hurt...season over....you cant say that about any other player on the team. We have already won without Jefferson and I think we can win without Millsap. biggest drop off is watson to Harris/Tinsley.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

If someone looked at the boxscore, I could see them thinking Al deserved it, but if you watched the game, I have a hard time believing anyone would give it to Al. Am I being overly hard on the guy? Because he looked completely awful to me at times tonight.

you know where I stand with Al. In addition, Sap had an off shooting night. That is hard to overcome both of them shooting poorly.

Millsap played pretty good D and rebounded great but his shot was off. CJ really played well tonight.

He was playing fine up until the fourth quarter. No one else really stepped up...

No, you're not. Al's decision-making is still really, really bad (even though I'll give him credit for at least looking for cutters when he has the ball at the elbow now, which is sadly a huge improvement). And his defense was especially lazy and bad tonight.

I hadn't been as down on Devin as some people, but at this point, it's really pretty clear the minutes should be decisively tilted in Earl's direction. I don't think it matters if he starts, but he should be the one finishing games.

Hayward and CJ struggled big time against Marion's length, and I thought Millsap was dominated tonight (he's due an off-night).

Burks had a very, very good game to my eyes, but I think you have to go with Watson. Our defense was uncharacteristically awful tonight, and we weren't running at all, until he came in and fired us up.

I voted for Earl, not for his heady play and ball distribution, but because he came to the defense of Favors like a real man. That's one of my major knocks on Favors, he needs a mean-streak. Earl is the leader I want for this team.

Al had a typical Al game...... But Millsap was horrible, on both ends of the floor...... I don't know if he was tired, lazy, or of the Jazz coaching staff just told him not to guard anyone, but he literally didn't play defense yesterday....... At all...... Particularly in the first half...... In the second half he looked a little more active, but his defense was still poor......

I don't understand how anyone can say he played good defense last night......

Wait, what did Dirk shoot and how many rebounds did he get? If anyone is to blame defensively, it's our 3s trying to guard Marion, CJ trying to guard Odom, and the guards sagging off Jet for the wide open 3, and Al tuning out.

Dirk took 12 shots...... It wasn't because of Millsap...... He could get any shot he wanted when Millsap was guarding him...... Millsap was slow on rotations, and didn't get the rebounds that counted.......

And while we're at it, why wasn't Millsap guarding Odom? Wasn't he supposed to be able to cover 3d this year......

Earl. He showed leadership and attitude. I am a big down on our bigs for their lack of help defense too many drives down the lane.
