Big Man Coach

Hey all,
I've been visiting these boards for years and finally decided to join. Its nice to see some Jazz fans out there! Quick question. Do the Jazz have a big man coach, and if not, why? Seems as though our strengths are at the bigs both presently and for the future. We need a big man coach to get these guys improving of the offensive end (Favors and Kanter). Also, if we don't have one, who would you like to see in there?

I don't think we have a guy who's main contribution to the team is coaching the big men, but I've been extremely impressed with out Big Men this season-- Millsap and Jefferson are co-existing this season in a way that never happened last year.

Which really surprises me (that we don't have a coach dedicated to big men). This is something in general that I do not understand with the NBA. The NFL has position group coaches and why wouldn't the NBA? I certainly would, especially for this team. Its probably because of the scheduling and lack of practices though. They don't get much time between the games to work on their craft individually...

I think they brough Mike Sanders in as a big man coach, but he isn't a big man.

Yes indeed Michael Sanders was hired on over the summer to tutor Favors and Kanter.

Al has a lot of McHale in him. Great footwork.
