Houston has 3 PGs that is why they cut Linsanity. I think they would be willing to trade either Dragic or Flynn but I would only want Lowery but my understanding is that he is untouchable.

Jefferson plus Raja Bell for Kevin Martin and Flynn make sense for both teams if you think Flynn is the answer for our PG problem. Worst case scenario you start Watson and make Flynn your back up PG. Martin gives us much needed outside shooting as we have no answer for the zone defense right now. Mchale the rockets coach loves Jefferson and they get Bell (the self-proclaimed Kobe stopper). Harris can then be shipped to a team like Lakers for an expiring contract and pick.

Beats watching Jefferson taking time away from our young bigs.

There are tons of PGs that will be free agents. We need to sign one this off season!

Well its nothing new that we need a pg since deron was traded. We don't need one this season tho. Lets wait and see what our options are in the offseason. I know some of you guys wanna win now but thats not whats best best for us. We will find one eventually, don't try to rush it.

I posted this in the Trade and Transactions board as well, but what about trading Harris for Jameer Nelson? Stastically, they're pretty close with Jameer having a down year this year, but so is Devin..

The length and amount of salaries in their contract is nearly identical. I'm not saying that Jameer would come in and set the team on fire, but Devin just seems completely out of it, and not interested in helping the team succeed..

I would love Jarret Jack, he's like a rich mans Earl Watson.

If we don't make a trade for Dragic, I could see us making a run at him in FA this next year. He really would be a great fit for this team and system and I've always felt that he's one of the most underrated players out there.

He isn't expiring at the end of this season. I think that we should explore something like CJ+2012 UT 2nd+cash for Jack and some minor piece like Trevor Ariza who just makes more than they're worth.

I think we'd consider just releasing Walton, he wouldn't add anything to the team.

We have a point guard we just need to trade Harris and bell for a starting shooting guard start Watson and have Tinsley back up.

Watson is not the answer.

obviously watson and tinsley are not a long term answer but i think devin harris may actually be hurting this team more than anything else

Harris gets lazy, picks up his dripple, and has a terrible non threatning outside shot.

We need someone who can make assists, I don't care who, just someone who can generate a basket like a point guard should. The more assists a team has the better the shooting percentage, it just mainly always works that way. And we all know shooting percentage is key to winning games.

Assists create shots and we lack a go-to-guy when we are in desperate need of a basket. A good PG makes 4 other players that go-to-guy. PG's should be "basket creater" and Harris just ISN"T that.

I don't care who we get but we desperately need a new PG that can assist his teammates better.

Calderon for the TPE, basically.

With your stacked frontcourt, Calderon is exactly the type of PG you need. He will feed the bigs constantly and create more room for them to operate with his 3pt shot.
