Rodrigue Beaubois?

Rodrigue Beaubois, I have always liked his game. He has also killed the Jazz over his career but apparently he is on the block to further open up salary for this summer. Raja Bell would be a great fit for them as well. Afer March 1, 2012, when alot more players are available, I could see a trade between the Jazz and Dallas around Beaubois and Raja Bell maybe invoving MIles (expiring contract) in a separate trade for a trade exception.

His biggest problem is he kind of short to play SG but not a good enough ball handler to really play PG, but compared to Harris he might look like John Stocton.

Cuban is familiar with harris and howard. Seems like a good fit. But only if they can still afford deron after this year.

I'm actually not a big fan of his, especially for the Jazz.

I think he would be a good fit for a team who needs a scoring bench guard/6th man (ala Luis Williams for Philly) but as a starting PG, I really don't like him. As stated, he's really a SG who plays at the PG position.

Honestly, Beaubois is a guy that could work well for the Jazz. Hayward and Burks have shown the ability to be good passers on the wings, so ideally Beaubois will be part of a 3 ballhandling group, very similar to Philly. This promotes running the offense also, but Roddy's scoring ability is top notch. Even if he isn't a PG, guy is a great combo guard in the mold of Barbosa or Terry. His wingspan is huge too, so he's very capable of logging SG minutes.

He got quite a bit overhyped a couple of seasons back after that promising rookie season, the Mavs made him out to be some kind of future star PG while he's actually the second coming of Leandro Barbosa. I wouldn't mind him for the Jazz as long as he's used accordingly, as a spark plug to provide outside shooting, scoring and a change of pace off the bench - we could definitely use a guy like that.

Dallas decided that he didn't work as a PG, so why would he work here.

He's not a PG, he's a combo guard. If you're going to have a guy like him, you have to use him accordingly.
