Jazz need to change things up after the all Star Game!
Trade Harris for Calderon
Calderon Watson
Hayward Burks
Howard Evans
Favors Milsap
Jefferson Kantor
Bench Miles and Bell or trade them. Let the young
Guys(Hayward, Burks, Favors, Kantor & Evans) play the rest
of the year. The other line-ups hasn't worked.
I'd rather see the young guys with jefferson and Howard and Milsap and
Watsonfor the rest of the year.
hange up Jazz!!!atson

I like Jeremy, he's a freak athlete and he seems like a nice kid, but... What's his position in the NBA? He played as a 4 in the limited minutes he's had so far but how can he really have a future there with the kind of body he has? But his offensive game is basically nonexistent save for alley oops and putback dunks, while his lateral footspeed and defensive fundamentals are not ideal to guard most 3's, so where does that leave him?
I'm not knocking on him, and despite all these question marks he does manage to make good things happen when he's on the floor so I think he should have some more chances to show he can be a decent energy guy off the bench in the NBA, but he has lots of improving to do and I'm not totally confident he can make it. I'm pulling for him, though, and I'm happy for his win in the dunk contest.

Winning the dunk contest should help Jeremy stick in the league as a limited role player.
He's likely to be a lower cost $1 mil a year guy that plays in 40 games a year for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. He may get better offers from the Euro leagues.
Evans is 24 years old which means 90% of his physical development is done. And his overall game is about as good as it's ever going to be. Obviously his thin frame is a major problem for him in terms of getting playing time. His floor game is so so. His shooting away from the rim hasn't been very effective so far but it's not terrible either.
I like Jeremy. I hope he can hang around a few years.
I think the draft will determine if the Jazz resign him. The Jazz can only carry 13 guys. They probably won't resign Tinsley, Howard or Carroll. If they have two first round draft picks, that's two spots filled. If a trade results in swapping one player for another one, then it will come down to one of those three guys versus Evans. There are a lot of possible combinations but It isn't looking good for Jeremy right now as far as returning to the Jazz goes.

Speaking of dunk contest Im thinking these past few years have been a big disappointment. Not to take anything from evans but this year has been really weak. Also the all star game and rising star game is kinda turning into a joke. Id like to see an actual game with the best players competing. Too much to ask but if I were paying 7k a ticket for a good seat id like to see an actual game.

It's a nice guy, but he is not a contributor, not with Al, Paul, Enes and Derrick around.

Every time he comes into the game, good things happen.
The last game where he got meaningful playing time (vs Portland), he was HUGE in getting us back into the game.

"Every time he comes in, good things happen" might be a bit of an over statement. Fans tend to only remember the times he was in when he did something that was attention getting.
However, Jeremy is a good role player and he can contribute in selected situations. The question is does he contribute enough for the Jazz to keep him on the bench and forgo another player. That is going to be a close call.

Jerremy is not your typical roll player his athletic abilities are phenomenal, give him 20+ min and im sure that he will deliver 10+ rebounds and few blocks each playing night, he deserve to get those minutes

Jeremy isn't going to see an average of 20 minutes a night anytime soon. If he was on the floor 20 mins a night he would have way more nearly 0 nights than 10 rebound nights.
He's a free agent at the end of the year. Let's see how many teams can't wait to pay him big bucks to get their hands on him because he's a 20 minute a night guy, and not a small minute role player.

How does Jeremy Evans needing more playing time equate to trading Harris for Calderon!?!
