Game 35 Player of the Game

I'd give it to Devin.

Some thoughts on the game.

Alec Burks is studly. He is fearless. I am still confused how he can have a great first half and then play like two minutes second half. He needs more time. Heck all our young guys do.

Kanter is just a great player. I am so excited about a Kanter Favors front court. Their defense is awesome. Their O will come along.

I hate Als game. 20 shots for 20 Pts. That's trash. He never gets to the line. His game is designed to avoid contact and it drives me crazy. I hope our young bigs avoid copying his game.

Corbin is lucky we came up with that ball after we went to Al in that last possession. It just kills me that our way to get a bucket in the last few minutes is dump into Al rinse repeat. Garbage.

Harris has put together about six games of good play. Nice to see.

We need to move Al. He needs to go to a team where he'd be a 3rd or at most, a 2nd option. When he's the guy it doesn't work. Maybe he needs to go to the Thunder. I want to see him succeed. He's a nice guy, and I think he wants to win, but he can't be asked to be a 1st or maybe not even. 2nd option.

This is a really hard one because everyone played so great... but I'm going for Devin Harris because he made the biggest play of the game.

thats pure haters talk man, blame him for what ever you want but not for this game because its total insanity, he choke some shots but in the end he got two clutch buckets and two clutch rebounds so for real give him a brake, f*ck Fav played today like sissy but no its Al Jefferson who you have to mentioned as "bad one" :-?

Tell me how I shouldn't be angry about him needing 20 shots to get 20 points. That is pure garbage.

It has been his problem his whole career. On top of that his ole defense kills us. There will always be a select few who defend Al for whatever reason. I guess that is you. So be it. This is Al. We know who he is.

Favors kicks a** on defense and impacts a lot of plays. You just decided you hate him a while ago. You calling him a sissy after his defensive performance tonight confirms that. Yes I hate Al's game. I've made no secret of that. I have statistical and measurable reasons why. Things shown over about a seven year career. And I find it ironic that someone who is defending Al's game (whos game shys away from contact) is calling another player a sissy. Lol.

Favors is 20 years old. We don't know what we have with him. I want to find out.

no im just not his fanboy and some of you act like this, i like Fav a lot but he is weak physically, he looks the same as last season and thats whats bother me.

yea no one knows that but like i said some act like if the know that hes gonna by next super star, i dont know if he will ever be as good, or even close, to Al's level but constantly i have to read post saying that Jefferson sucks and Favors is awesome has just bad luck to coaches who benched him for no reason. Thats annoying bulls*it, i wont justify poor presence of Al but i wont accept haters talk neither.

I guess I'll go with Harris but Favors was very impressive in the minutes he got. As for as Big Al I've come to accept that no matter what he does he will be criticized by if not the majority at least a very vocal portion of Jazz fans. What I don't understand is Sap does alot of the same things but because he has to "try" harder to do them it's ok. I think that a thing people overlook when they say Big Al or Sap has to go and want it to be Big Al is the fact that all 3 of Al/Favors/Kanter can play PF & C while Sap is limited to PF. And he is small for that. I like Sap alot but IMHO it is him not Big Al who is holding back the young guys.

A lot of my frustration with Al is the team's insistence on running the offense through him.

Harris for two key plays, but we played great as a team.
