I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by making this. I'm just really, really bored.

I was going to update that with the benches after Cleveland's game tomorrow. Also watching whether or not Raja will be put back into the lineup.

i can see this game being decided by 10 points or more in either direction. cavs are just as unpredictable as the jazz are lately. jazz SHOULD win....

Bell starting and Hayward to the bench. Corbin using veterans for playoff push. Does Corbin even watch the games? The veterans are costing us games. I will be happy when our second unit is in as all 4 lottery picks plus Watson will be at the same time that is unless Corbin plays Miles over Burks. Corbin looks like a coach that wants to win a few games to protect his job. Corbin is a good practice coach but a bad game manager (A classic assistant coach).
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Been a Jazz fan about 20 years.

I've been to 12 games this year. Watched rest on tv.

I am not happy with the direction of this team and Tys love affair with Al,Paul and his vets. Hayward will now be benched tonight.

I won't be going to another game this year and I'm thinking of not tuning in. The Jazz org need to understand this direction is trash. How else do we send that message?

None of the starting five tonight will be on the Jazz when the young guys are ready. What a waste.

The vets give up in the Dallas game and the young guys come in and get them back in. Ty's reaction? Middle finger to Favors and he throws Al back in. Result? A loss.

Ty is just something else.

Maybe Jazz are just content with being a first round exit. I wonder which young guys will be
Moved at the deadline for some vets so we can make sure we are an 8th seed and a first round exit.

Signed

Although I want Ty to play the young guys most I think I understand why Ty is starting the vets. You can't deny that before bell got injured he was the most consistent player on the team and shouldn't lose his starting job due to injury. However if he comes back and can't get a rhythm again after a few games he should sit. Also Howard is a much better player with the starting unit. He drove me crazy playing with the young guys because he would take a million shots knowing that he would have to be a scorer. With the first unit he plays his game cutting, rebounding and playing defense. He is not a good number one option.

With Gordon going to the bench, you could argue that this is a move towards the future. Let's see these guys play most of their minutes together and maybe they will play better than the starters. Then the FO can decide whether to get rid of the oldies and go young at the end of the season

I am really excited to see Watson and Gordon play more together because Watson has said that this will be Gordons team and they are all just waiting for him to take it over. So I think Watson will work hard to get the ball into Gordon's hands a lot more.

As fans we are ok with playing the young guys and basically sacrificing the season for their development. If you think that we can trade away our vets and make the playoffs your crazy. I would like to see more movement toward the development for the future but you can't blame Ty for wanting to win now. Remember that the Utah jazz don't know how to lose. Ha ha yeah we have lost a lot of games in the last 2 seasons but that doesn't mean they know how to lose. It's not in there plans ever. KOC never rebuilds right? Just retools. As long as there is a chance to make the playoffs Ty will do whatever HE thinks will get the team the W. I don't agree with always deferring to the vets but he has gotten better. Look at burks' minutes last game.

I don't mind Hayward going to the bench. He's been very quiet lately and this way he gets to play with Favors and Kanter. I just thought Burks would be the one starting. We now have only Harris who can create shots for other players and it's not like he's Stockton out there.
If by the trade deadline at least two of Al, Sap, Bell, Howard, CJ and Harris aren't gone, I'm gonna be pretty upset. There's no use in making a playoff push just to get swept in the 1st round. I doubt we make the playoffs anyway with the group we currently have.

Ty has basically lost my support. I'm not sure what he has going for him at this point. He's a terrible game manager as evidenced by: his failure to recognize and exploit mismatches; his inability to sense momentum shifts and respond accordingly; his poor management of minutes and substitutions; and his reluctance to stick with lineups that are working.

Then let's not forget that this team's spacing on the offensive end of the floor is awful. His favorite offensive set seems to be "dump it in to Al and get out of the way."

Who knows, maybe Greg has him by the balls and told him to make the playoffs or else.

I'm feeling exactly the same. Either we win by 8-10 or get blow out 15. Both the cavs and jazz are streaky teams.

Our bigs gave the Cavs a lot of trouble last time, and I hope we do it again. Jefferson is kind of crap on the road though, so hopefully he comes through for us.
