What do you guys think about this duo going forward, do you guy believe that this duo will be your future bigs for a long time, and do you want them to be your future bigs for a long time?

Depends if one of them ever shows they can consistently be more than putback/garbage man on offense and do it at a high volume with heavy defensive attention.
Outside of putback and garbage buckets they have both been atrocious this season (and last season for Favors) and not even in the same stratophere with guys like Love, Griffin or even Cousins were as rookies. This is also considering those guys had way more defensive attention paid to them than Favors and Kanter have seen thus far.
Can't have two bigman who you can't consistently count on to score in bunches.

I expected Kanter to be better tbh. He's still young and his defense is solid for his age. But, everytime someone passes the ball to him, I pray that he's able to catch it. His offense is too raw. He has some nice moves thanks to his footwork, but still he often seems lost, not knowing what to do when he has the ball. He needs to develop a couple of go-to-moves. I just hope his touch/feeling for the ball gets better. Always when he misses badly with a weird hook shot or such, he looks at his hands.

I think both are showing signs of being great big men in this league. I would love to see them develop and anchor the Jazz frontcourt for a the next decade or more. The 2 main pieces we got for the DWill trade are still 19 and 20 years old.
Favors has been showing great progression the last month, highlighted by back to back monster games. 16 boards in 23 minutes vs Minnesota, then 23 and 17 as a starter with Big Al out vs Golden State. All areas of his game are looking better.
Kanter still looks lost plenty of the time, but he already rebounds at a huge rate. I think he plays good post D as well, he moves his feet well and is just massive. He is ahead of what I hoped for, taking into consideration he sat out all of last year, and is obviously learning how the NBA game is played.
The interesting part to see will be how well do they play together. I think it could work. Favors is explosive and long, Kanter plays closer to the ground with power. They can both guard 5's, Favors can guard 4's as well. They can both rebound and I think could dominate most bigs on the glass.
They both have a long way to go, but I don't see any reason why they can't get there.

Not worried about these guys in the slightest. Going to be an excellent tandem for us. It's really just a matter of whether we can hold onto them in the long-term.

I think a lot of the issues with Kanter's offense lie with his ability to communicate. He is improving his instincts quite a bit on that end of the court, but he still has another season or two before we really know what he can do. He's got to start turning the right direction on the pick and roll - he had been earlier in the season but seems to still forget every once in a while. He also has to get back confidence in his jump shot. Last game he pulled up for an 18 footer, his form looked great but he shanked it off of the back-stop. Once he realizes that he has a nice jumper for a center and that he needs to move better without the ball we will see a different Enes. I think we're looking at a perennial 15/13 type of center.
Favors will be better, though. He's one of the most athletic power forwards I've ever seen and he has tremendous size at that position as well. He is proving that he can score on the low-block and off of pick and roll situations. If we can spread the floor a bit more he will blossom (he already is).
I can't wait to see this combo moving forward.

I think we can reasonably consider this to be our frontcourt of the future. Both will be quality starters in this league for a long time. The question really lies in this: will either ever be a centerpiece for this team?
Both look to be plus rebounders, and Kanter looks like he might be one day be the best in the league. Both demonstrate impressive defensive abilities. Both can be very good finishing plays and putting the ball back.
But will either ever be an offensive force?
At this point, its hard to see that happening. Admittedly, they are both very young and very raw. But the improvement we'd have to see in order for one (or both) of them to become a high-efficiency AND high volume scorer is pretty astronomical.
At this point, it looks like we would have to pair them with a high scoring wing in order for them to be part of a championship caliber squad. And I don't think Hayward or Burks is that guy. So we need to keep our options open and see if anything opens up. I'm having a hard time seeing the beginnings of a contender here. I hope I'm wrong.

They compliment each other well and that's important. Neither will impede the development of the other. I think they could take us to the finals in a couple of years. I'd really like to see both work on the pick and roll. Two pick and roll threats like that is cash money baby.

Check out Favors as a starting Center:
http://espn.go.com/nba/player/splits/_/ ... ick-favors15.8 PPG on 52%(6 FGM- 11.6 FGA per game) shooting and 11.2 RPG(4 OREB)
He can easily be a 20 PPG / 10+RPG guy if he gets the minutes and FGA. I'm hoping he gets his opportunity next season when Jefferson or Millsap is traded. Jefferson preferably.

I don't think Favors is going to keep his scoring up, he'll probably end up around a 14 PPG guy unless he's forced to chuck like Jermaine O'Neal and that would kill his efficiency. He's doing well right now offensively, but his decision making and touch are really really bad and it would take a ton of work to get those up to the high level 18-20 PPG scorers with decent to good efficiency need. Defensively, he's been pretty awesome. Tyson Chandler with some post game looks like it could be a decent expectation and that would be pretty awesome and maybe the second best center in the NBA.
Kanter really hasn't gotten opportunities to do anything. I worry about his ability to score and block shots, but he's really getting no minutes to prove anything and the Jazz just have him stand at the left block and try to grab rebounds. He has been a really great rebounder though and not nearly as bad defensively as I thought.
