I have reviewed the top 10 teams in the west and below I predict the final standings at the end of the year. To my surpise, I have the Jazz not only making the playoffs but actually being a 7th seed.

1. SA Spurs 49-17 ( I have Jazz winning tonight)
2. OKC 47-19
3. Lakers 42-24
4. Memphis 40-26
5. LA Clippers 39-27
6. Dallas Mavs 37-29
7. Utah Jazz 37-29
8. Houston 37-29
9. Denver 36-30
10. Suns 34-32

Playoffs OKC ov Jazz in 4 games (bad matchup for the Jazz--prefer to play the Lakers)

So should we disregard due to the failed prediction of Jazz beating Spurs?

We still have the tie breaker over Denver, so we would be in 8th now if the predictions play out.

Doesn't look good. If they don't win the the Spurs in tonights game again, you can all but kiss this year goodbye.

The key wins were at Houston, vs the Suns, and vs the Mavs

It could definitely happen. I'm surprised by the optimism.

Hollinger gives us a 34.7% chance of making the playoffs. I can't imagine that to be good, but better than 0% i guess.According to him Millwaukee who is 28-29 has a slightly better chance of making it in the East.
