Favorite player to watch on the Jazz?

Post#1 » by Ugly0598 » Sun Apr 29, 2012 7:58 am

I'm not sure whether this topic has been posted on here at all or in a while, but who is your favorite player to watch on the Jazz and why? Whether it be the our top players on the team or a guy like Blake Ahearn haha.

Mine - Derrick Favors, I like watching him and he's my favorite player on the Jazz because he plays defense at an elite level and has a level of explosiveness that I really enjoy watching, plus I think he will be an All-Star obviously.

Paul Millsap because he makes big plays regardless how well he's playing.

I will say Favors, because when he does a great move I get excited for the future potential.

Me as well. When Harris is on, it's a thing of beauty. And Favors and Hayward are both very explosive.

Favors, Hayward, Burks and Millsap all come to mind, but, if I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably say Favors. That guy's a beast.

This is a brutal thing to ask...

I would have to say Hayward. Millsap and Favors are extremely close behind him.

Have to agree, when Harris get's it going he is so exciting. I remember a game I was watching a few weeks ago where he simply caught fire and kept pushing the break and launching jumpers, looked sick ;) haha his jumpshot looks so cool imo.

This a tough question, probably can't narrow it down to one but Hayward, Burks, Favors, Harris and of course the human pogo stick, Evans.

Favors, Hayward, and Millsap. The Jazz need to build around those 3 players. Evans is fun to watch too but not a building block.

Favors and Hayward. I want them to have more court time together.

Big Al. So many low-post moves it's ridiculous.

celtic fan here , while i don't mean to interupt your discussion , i was wondering if i could get some input on this Carroll kid you guys have ? While watching small minutes of a couple of your playoff games , this kid kind of jumped off the screen . Seemed to be a good defender , quick to long rebounds and i was amazed how well he handled the ball . Once he got a reb. and i was yelling "give the ball up" , to my surprise he was more than adept at bringing it down the court . Have i only caught him at his finest moments or is this guy a keeper ? Good luck now and in the future , always liked the unselfishness exhibited by your teams over the years . any feedback would be appreciated .

that's a pretty accurate assessment. he is basically pure hustle and intensity. he causes all sorts of havoc defensively and going for rebounds. good handle. not the best shooter though. i hope the jazz look at resigning him.

Carroll is a terrible shooter and doesn't have any exemplary skills, but he's 100 percent hustle and heart and has been a joy to watch. I'd love to keep him around next year.
