To Selfish

I am really bugged by Josh Howard and his attitude. Its one thing when a player returns from an injury and come back to contribute to a team but when he speaks to the media this is all he has to say

Josh Howard:

"I think the more time I get on the court, the better it will be for me," Howard said. "... I'm going to do my best when I'm out there on the court."

"Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make the four shots that I took," Howard said, "but being out there playing defense and getting the rebounds that I got, it felt great."

Asked why he’s always played well against San Antonio, Howard smiled.

"I’ve just stayed aggressive against them," he said. "I know the competition is going to be good. I know they are going to come prepared, so that heightens your sense of urgency. More than anything, I think that plays part of it."

The Jazz were playing really good team ball before Howard came back and is messing up the groove of our team basketball.

Do you think his playoff experiencing is really worth messing up the Jazz rotation and is Ty really calling the shots on the Howard situation?

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a problem with what he's said.

These comments don't bother me as much as the one he made about not caring about team chemistry. He's certainly not a humble guy, but I guess a lot of players aren't.

Tempest in a teapot here. He's been an All-Star, he's played over 60 playoff games, only Raja Bell on the current Jazz roster has more playoff appearances and he played a pivotal role in Dallas's finals run a few years back. I agree that his on-court production hasn't been awe-inspiring, but I can easily see why he'd be looked on to start games and play meaningful minutes in the playoffs. Looking at the regular season, he and DeMarre Carroll's PER #'s are very similar. I don't blame him a bit for wanting to see the court..

I have no problem with what he said and I think he played hard. I have a problem with Corbin deciding to start him.
