Al Jefferson barely looks like an NBA player tonight.

Al Jefferson may legitimately be the worst pick-and-roll defender in NBA history. He literally just stands there. It's not a matter of lateral quickness; he literally DOES NOT TRY TO MOVE.

Favors has already shown he's the best big man defender and rebounder on the roster. He just hasn't had the chance to show how good he can really be on the offensive end.

Why is Jefferson guarding Duncan when Favors is in the game? I get that we're all just "fans on our couches," but there comes a time when a coach's stupidity transcends the profession.

Good thinking, Carroll. When there's 1.3 seconds on the clock, it's always wise to take two dribbles, then pump-fake.

Jazx just pulled off the all-too-common 2-for-1 where they end up with two bad possessions.

Spurs get a better shot in 3.3 seconds than the Jazz get in 24.

Thinking the exact same thing. To have John Stockton again...

Demoralizing end to the half; I knew they were going to get whatever they wanted. Sigh.

All things considered, I'll take the first half. Just glad to not be embarrassed.
