Of all the baskets in those 5 minutes, I counted only 4 shots (not layups or dunks). This reflects what I saw during the games I watched too. This leads me to believe that Favors is really more a center than a PF.

Great looking young player. Will almost certainly make a few All Star teams at least as an elite defender/rebounder who can finish in traffic and on the break. Its likely that his ability to develop some moves on the block will determine whether he can make the leap from that to All-NBA type performer.


Already one of the top 10 defensive bigs in the game, imo. Has a chance to be special on that end. I was really worried mid-season before he started to come on after the AS break.

Do you Jazz fans think management will pick Favors over Millsap and keep Jefferson? 3 solid big men but Favors has a very high ceiling and seems to be coming into his own with the limited minutes.
Edit: Or will they just keep all 3? I went to a Jazz game this year for the first time in a while, and even though it was against the Bobcats the front line looks good.
