GRIZZLIES
Out - Gay, Conley, Future 1st
In - Rondo, Pierce
CELTICS
Out - Rondo, Pierce, 2012 1st (#22)
In - Big Al, Conley, Hayward, Blatche, 2013 GSW #1, Memphis Future 1st
JAZZ
Out - Big Al, Hayward, Bell, 2013 GSW 1st
In - Lewis, 2012 Wash 1st (#3), 2012 Bos 1st (22)
WIZARDS
Out - Lewis, Blatche, 2012 1st (#3)
In - Gay, Bell
WHY?
Memphis - Want to continue their success, but add a superstar (Rondo) and a clutch veteran (Pierce). They would also be saving $$$ long term by trading Gay.
Boston - They want to get young talent on good contracts and draft picks while still winning. Tuff to do, but this deal accomplishes this goal. If KG and Green resign they'd have a complete TEAM while adding draft picks and keeping cap flexibility.
UTAH - This team is to young to compete. Favors (20) and Kantor (20) are two young building blocks. Lewis will be able to be waived for only $13 mil which saves money immediately. They'll also have their choice of MKG, Beal, or Barnes to add to their young core of Favors, Kantor and Burks. Still keep their cap flexibility going forward.
WIZARDS - Fans of this team do not want to admit it but they're in win now mode. The McGee for Nene trade proves this fact. By having a core of Wall, Gay and Nene locked up it will attract FA IMO and allow them to be an annual playoff team. They also rid themselves of Lewis and Blatche without eating a ton of $$$.

He wasn't meant as filler. More the main piece. With Kantor and Favors, Big Al has little value to you. He's a great player of course, but is he worth $15 mil to you just to stunt the growth of your future and lose you lottery picks just to get swept in the 1st round? Hayward needs to stay in or no deal from a Celtics fans perspective.

Very bad for WIZZ...they wont do it.
Celts say no to getting several good things, but not great like Rondo.

Re: JAZZ / CELTICS / WIZARDS / GRIZZLIES
You forget that this year was a huge step forward with a young team. Al is expendable, but Hayward is not. (plus Al is now an expiring contract) There is absolutely no interest from the Jazz in taking a step back competitively and trading either Favors or Hayward. The Jazz are in great shape financially. The only players under contract past next year is Favors, Hayward, Kanter and Burks.
Al and Lewis is a wash I suppose, though Al is more likable. So, it's Hayward and aprox. the 10 for the 3 and a 22.
This trade is heavily in favor of the Celtics and Grizzlies.

This makes no sense whatsoever. You have who I presume is Bradley Beal as the starting pg ( who isn't a pg) for the Jazz, when they still would have Devin Harris ( who is a pg) on the roster?
If they pick Beal, the best SF they would have under contract is Raja Bell. Bleargh..
They'd have to go with MKG or Barnes, neither of whom are known for their 3 pt shooting, which is what the Jazz need most.
I'd say that either Hayward (preferably) or the GSW pick need to be removed from the deal for this to be palatable for the Jazz. Oh yeah, Washington needs to pay a lot of Lewis's contract this year as well...
Or the package you've listed for Utah brings back Rondo and the #22. As a matter of fact that's the best deal here - Jefferson, Hayward, GSW 1st, Jazz 2013 first for Rondo, Bos 2012 first.

I think the Celtics would heavily consider your proposal.
I'm a big Al Jeff fan and I watched many of your games this year. Hayward is not a SF and neither is Burks. Yet your squad drafted Burks after they already had Hayward. If they truly believed in Hayward they would have drafted Kawhi Leanord with the 12th pick not Burks.
I think Jazz fans over-value Hayward and I'm not sure why? Burks has as much potential, a different type of player, but as much potential.

Huge step forward, REALLY? Come on man!
Yes it's Hayward and the app. #10 for the #3 this year. You should jump all over that considering you just drafted your future SG in last years draft, Burks.

Hayward can play both positions effectively.

Why wouldn't Jazz just deal with Wizards directly? No way Jazz give up Hayward and Big Al and the Golden State pick, plus take on Lewis's bloated contract simply for a #3.

Re: JAZZ / CELTICS / WIZARDS / GRIZZLIES
In order to unload Lewis' the Wizards need to give up a lot more A lousy contract like that is very costly to unload. Also wouldn't trade Hayward unless we get a better more proven player back.

One of the worst trade proposals I've seen in quite a while.

Re: JAZZ / CELTICS / WIZARDS / GRIZZLIES
Lewis' salary is not a big deal, it's an expiring. There really is zero value in him long term, so it's basically Al Jefferson, Gordon Hayward and GSW's 2013 pick (top 7 protected) for the 2012 #3 and #22? Screw that.
This trade is gold for Boston, I see why the OP likes it.

It really depends on how much the Jazz like who they could get at #3.
Would you trade Hayward and the GSW pick (~10th) for James Harden? How about Wade?
As much as I like Hayward, there could be a huge gap between his ceiling and the ceiling of this year's 3rd overall pick.

It's nice to know that your pick turns into Wade, who BTW was a 5th pick. Harden is another 3rd pick gone right, but then you have the Adam Morrison's, Marvin Williams', and other busts in history taken high. #1 is the only player that looks like a franchise player in this draft, so poor comparison.

What I said was: it depends on how much the Jazz like who they could get at three, and I gave some examples of guys who could've been picked at three.
If the Jazz think Beal could be a perennial all star then they might do this deal.

I'd be willing to take back Lewis to land Bradley Beal.
Not willing to part ways with Hayward though. Like it's been said before, replace Hayward with Burks and we can talk.
