If anyone else is interested in discussing the WCF and ECF, this is the place!

These last few games (in both series) have been so much fun to watch. I'm not a huge fan of the Celtics (KG is kind of a prick and Pierce has more swagger than he can justify), but it's not hard to root for them against Miami.

Rajon Rondo is without a doubt the best, most creative passer in the game. That tap-to-the-corner to Pietrus was so badass, I stood up off my couch. If only the kid could start banging down jumpers...

I'm not writing Miami off by any means, but this series has exposed a lot of things. Rivers has coached circles around Spoelstra, and we're seeing that LeBron and Wade can't just turn it on whenever they feel like it (and that they aren't really elite decision-makers in end-of-game situations). The Dallas series last year revealed some of that, but not to the extent that this series has.

I never thought I would call a San Antonio Spurs series exciting. Basketball purists, go ahead and hate me, but the Spurs bored the crap out of me for a long time (those SA/Detroit Finals were brutal to me). Their new offensive scheme, coupled with an incredibly exciting OKC team, has made this series a beauty to watch. And I'm loving how OKC is growing up right before our eyes. These ain't no young pups folding under pressure.

Love to hear everyone else's thoughts on two very fun series.

I have loved the conference finals, especially because the Heat are going to lose to Boston! What could be better? I don't care who wins the West now, like both teams, just glad to see the Heat LeChoking!

Unless the guy is playing for near the minimum I have no interest. He has to have ankle surgery in the offseason.

I think I'd pay Ray Allen a little more than the minimum for next year

Both series has been great.
When you see a team come back from 2-0 is exciting.

I hope both goes to 7.... altough maybe this would mean home victory in both series.

Lebron going to score 50 tonight. Lame...

Well this finals suck. A small market with no emotional investment in their team vs the ultimate mercenary team.

Seriously. I do hope OKC wins it, but it really sucks for Seattle fans to have to watch that.

Though, I don't necessarily agree that OKC market has no emotional investment. Those fans are really into the game and cheer really loud, not all that different from here. OKC winning it all bodes well for the Jazz as well. Any time a small market team can pull it off, it's a good thing. The Heat winning it all will be devastating to me, I can't stand what they stand for.

It drives me nuts that iso hero ball has triumphed over team-oriented basketball.

That is interesting, especially considering all the praise the Spurs were getting for their team game. I think I heard some analysts saying it was the best team basketball they had ever seen! Or at least the best the Spurs had ever played. And then they still lost! Pretty crazy.

I think in large part it was athleticism beating "un-athleticism," too. Definetely an eye-opener that the Spurs were beat tho.

Super boring finals. Small market teams just took a big hit in my mind. Why would any superstar not want to do what Lebron did now? It's a shame... If it weren't for the Jazz, I would really dislike the NBA. Not only was it really boring to watch, now we will probably have another 4+ year dynasty in the league.

I'm happy for Battier (despite the flopping) and Miller though.

I thought the games were very intriguing, although I do agree its a sad time for small market teams. It seems that the challenges for a small market team are becoming unbearable. The Thunder put together an incredible team through the draft, and still can't overcome the "clique" culture that Miami created. If OKC can't win one with that team in the next couple years, things look very bleak for small markets.
I also think Miami got a slight reffing advantage in the series. How different would things have been if Lebron would have been called for his foul at the end of game 2?
