They have got to be the dumbest bag of rocks in the league.

They also seem to have no shame, getting rebuffed by so many players.

I can't see him taking almost a 50% pay cut to go from being the best player in the league to coming off of the bench.

I'd give him that on the Jazz. I wish him well though. I like Andrei and wish the Jazz system could have suited his style better in retrospect.

I wonder if the Jazz are in the mix for Kirilenko?

He was negotiating with Brooklyn-who could only offer the minimum. Had Minny not made a deal to clear up cap room, he could have been looking in that area.

So natrually GSW wants in on the action, regardless of the extremely low probability of Kirilenko accepting such a low offer from New Jersey. You can look at GSWs behavior as reasonable if you want, but why would take half of his Russian salary to play for GSW?

The way that I see it is that GSW has a Ready, Fire, Aim approach. They blab something or pursue a player without thinking first. So first Dwight Howard laughs them off and now Andre Kirilenko.

I don't think that Andre deserves anywhere near $10 million per year, but it is pretty evident that GSW owner/management should talk to the right people first (Andre in this case) before going to the press. They seem to do just the opposite, and express their fantasies to the press, before even gauging their chances of success. Just makes them look unorganized.

He was already quoted as saying he was coming back to the NBA prior to Minnesota clearing cap (still officially haven't) and when he was talking to Jersey, who again could only offer the vet min. So how exactly is it unrealistic for the Warriors to talk to a player who is coming back to the league and looking for more than the min that the team he was currently talking to could offer?

They were in it until Minnesota cleared cap. He wasn't going back to Russia per his own words. If the Lopez 3-way falls through (reportedly 50-50) the negotiations re-open

Joe Lacob is that really you??? "... the negotiations re-open.". By definition this means that there was some sort of negotiation to start with. Maybe the GSW fans live in la-la land too.

And you know there were no negotiations between Kirlenko's people and GS how exactly?

Well I guess Andre won't be forced to sign with GSW at 24% of his salary demands, now that Minnesota came through. To bad for GSW, they had all of the leverage, since there are no other teams that could have signed Kirilenko. Oh well maybe Dwight Howard will change his mind, and re-sign with GSW.

My favorite train of thought from the GS board about AK is "He's a headcase, we'd be better off signing Blatche".

I love those guys

So basically you don't know and are pulling stuff out of your collective backside - as it seems you do a lot.

Who said GS had "all the leverage"? There were plenty of teams, according to Kirlenko, who his people were negotiating with.

I do enjoy your continued butthurt feelings about the Warriors over a draft pick that wasn't Utah's though. Nice to know GSW is constantly on your mind

Looking forward to the Warriors/Jazz games this year. Should be fun.

I see there are some Golden State fans who think they're still going to sign Kirilenko.

Good luck with that!

Are you guys gonna try to win this year, or are you gonna lie down like dogs again? If you're gonna do the dog thing again, I'd like to see something different than 5 PFs or whatever that was. How about you have your center play point guard, and then have 4 PGs playing the other positions? That would be cool. It really is fun when you know your team sucks so bad, that the real challenge is in finding new and interesting ways to lose.

How did you know? I think about GSW all the time! Their culture of winning is so exemplary. Oh and speaking of having another team on your mind, why is it again that you are in the Jazz forum?

You could be right! Now that Kirilenko is off the board, maybe Dwight will change his mind and take the $2.4 million which GSW offered to Andre. Quick. Have Joe call a press conference. Since there is a one in a billion chance, Joe better have his wet dreams be made known to the public.

Ironic how you said GSW is dumb while you can't spell or have proper grammar...Fail.....

Sorry, ""Use" proper grammar." is not a complete sentence either.

Besides, I don't consider myself smart. At least I know enough not to call a successful venture capitalist dumb.
