Al to Houston for what?

Post#1 » by blackham9258 » Tue Jul 24, 2012 1:21 am

I would love to get rid of Al in favor of some youth and picks. I think Houston got some great value for their picks. I would swap Al for T Jones or R White and a protected pick. Would they? Would we? Who should we target in a trade with them?

Personally I think Houston should look at this because they have a very good defensive center now to pair with Al. I also don't think that Houston really wants to go out their with 3 rookies and 2 sophomores.

Thoughts.

If we could get White or Motiejunas I'd be ecstatic, but Houston looks to be firmly rebuilding.

Houston does not want him. They have already spent a lot of money (for some reason) on the big white stiff from the Bulls. Their GM is a complete moron but even he knows Big AL is worthless.

Oddly enough, that is the exact same thing the opposing team says. Big Al= tons of points... for both teams.

I honestly have no idea who's even on the Houston Rockets anymore.

Just a thought, but a dark horse to get Al would be New Orleans.
Jefferson/Davis with Rino off the bench is not a bad way to go, and Al is still only 27 years old.
They'd be a good PG away from a playoff team, might be worth giving up some of their cap space and prospects for.
