Per W/T http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... _Cavaliers

I know he got a lot of hate on this board, but whatever. I might not have liked the guy too much, but I hope he does well in Cleveland.

He might start for them. There's a sobering thought if you're a Cavs fan.

I expect Alonzo Gee to be the starter in Cleveland once he is resigned, and Miles will be coming off the bench behind both he and Waiters. Cheap signing, young enough to improve, and adds depth at a position of need.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Good riddance.

I won't boo him when he comes back, but I'm not cheering for him either.

I also hope he does well in Cleveland. Just not TOO WELL. After 6-7 year of unrealized potential with the Jazz, it sure would suck if he suddenly figures it out somewhere else. I'm glad he's gone though.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

You're going to be very disappointed, my friend.

Doubtful. I said he is young enough to improve, I did not say that I expect him to become a starting caliber wing.

His shooting percentages on FG and 3pt have been declining for five straight years and he has a room temperature bbiq.

I wouldn't hold my breath.

I'll wish him luck and success as I do most of the Jazz players that move on to teams other than the Lakers!!!

I don't believe that your a Jazz fan since I haven't seen you around and it sounds like you are a Cavs fan.

Jazz fans have been saying that he is young enough to improve since his rookie year. It seemed like he was always on the cusp of figuring things out and turning the improvement corner but it was always just a fake out.

He has the talent to be a very good NBA starter but needs a strong coach or teammate that forces him to stop chucking and just drive to the hoop. I think he would have been better suited for the Lakers as he might have deferred to Kobe, but in Cleveland he might feel like he is the man and he will chuck it on each and every possibility. Cleveland fans will learn to loathe him like Jazz fans already do.

Would be interesting to see how CJ does with a coach like Byron Scott, seems like a lot of players like him.

CJ was pretty awful last year, but I have the impression that he could have a rebound year in Cleveland, with a fresh start.
