Looks like Brian T Smith is leaving the Trib's Jazz beat to cover the Astros in Houston. He must really like working the offseason based on the timing of this move.

Replacing him will be Bill Oram, who had been covering the Utah Utes basketball program for the Trib. Apparently he will take over the @tribjazz twitter handle created by Ross Siler and passed on to BTS.

Aw man...Brian T's one of my favorites

Siler was awesome, always full of tons of insightful analysis. I had troubles getting used to Smith's dry and robotic ways, so I don't think I'll miss him too much. High hopes for Oram!
