Assuming he gets a veteran's minimum deal, is it possible for Fisher to actually make money with the new flopping fines?

This is just getting sad now the obsession some people have with a player we were better off by not paying.

Then you should also be finding pleasure in Fisher's uneventful demise, as no one can make anymore posts about him.

I wonder if he has to be signed by a team to continue as the NBPA President? How long can Fisher go without playing before he is automatically removed from office? I wanted the Thunder to win the finals last year, but now I am glad that they didn't.

I would think until he officially retires he can hold the post.

The fact that the NBPA Executive Committee (not sure why they call players executives) unamimously voted that Fisher should resign, has to be a factor on teams being unwilling to sign him.

In addition, since Fisher forced Houston to buy him out, he is no longer under contract with any team, I think that is almost equivalent to retiring.

My geuss is that the subject will be brought up in the news in the next month or two.

At least the thread doesn't say Derek Fisher Eligible To Sign With Jazz.
