That didnt take long, now that Curry is injured, Golden state can start tank mode to get another lotto pick.

Some in their forum already have talked about starting the tank job.

I feel bad for Curry; but partly because I wanted the Jazz to go after him.

The injury isn't serious. Curry wanted to come back out and play but Jackson wouldn't let him. He's supposedly still going to play during the preseason, so he should be fine.

He won't play more than 60 games this year.

Even without Curry, Golden State is a borderline playoff team. They have no incentive to tank. And Barnes looks great, I really like that team. He's the perfect compliment to Thompson.

Golden State has half (no jokes) of league 25+ min/40+ 3p% players. And has Curry and Bogut (ankles) to assist them. Bad injury managment I think.

But they didn't start tank mode for now.
It's time to jazz with Hayward and Favors!

I just find it funny how much you hate that team. Were we the ones in the same position I would have rooted for the tank as well. And I do like to watch the Warriors, but the Jazz are my team and always will be.

You're the odd man out on this one. Not me. GSW is now up there with the Lakers and Nuggets in terms of teams that Jazz fans love to hate. Jazz will never tank half a season! So if you ever did root for the Jazz to do the same in a similar situation it would be an exercise in futility. In fact most teams would NEVER tank half a season.

There's no way I could dislike GS as much as LAL or the Nuggz. So they tanked. It's done with. Hating them is giving them way too much credit.

Tank? Who on the Warriors forum wants to tank? Curry's fine, just a minor setback.

Could your logic be applied the same way to the Lakers and Nuggets? So it is OK for you to hate you teams, but not for me to hate mine?

I think it was right after he left the preseason game and someone asked if it was too early to start tanking.

One silly poster doesn't characterize the entire Warriors fan community. I imagine you guys would expect the same.

Fair enough. It was probably said somewhat tongue-in-cheek.
