So... Did someone say the Jazz have good big men?

Seems like opposing bigs are crushing the Jazz on this road trip so far.
I guess you can accept Duncan, Marc Gasol, and Zach Randolph looking good, but, when the likes of Robin Lopez is schooling your bigs, I think you have to start questioning just how good your bigs are.
Frankly, they ain't getting it done. Mo Williams is balling. Hayward is holding his own. Marvin Williams has disappeared, but, I still think he's held his own.
But, the much vaunted Jazz bigs are getting crushed. It seems like we're playing small out there.

I have always said Big Al is best coming off the bench scoring against 2nd unit guys bc he is really not that good. Favors is the only big guy with real physical talent. Kanter is in the Big Al and Millsap mode making the best of his abilities but not a great athlete which limits his upside

Jefferson is good on paper, but only on paper. Milsap is small for a big.If only he was somehow bigger, he wouldn't be in Utah.
Get rid of Jefferson, let Favors and Kanter play. If the team struggles this year, wait for next year.
Keep both Jefferson and Milsap and give big minutes to them, but let Favors and Kanter develop and go to play-offs is a formula that will not work.

And then who do you play when Favors and Kanter foul out by halftime?

Now we're making Kosta look like an All-Star.
I give up.

5 blocks, 1 foul - Favors is not foul prone for this style of play

It's one in a hundred chance to have Favors and Kanter in the same team. Definitely bright future for the Jazz is coming.
I was more familiar with big D talent but Kanter impressed me. His preaseson is not a fluke, he has Brook Lopez (in body of Kris Humphries) calibre of talent (at the least?), imho.

I was thinking that one possible reason we're making opposing bigs look so good might be that we're doing much less doubling this year.
Under Sloan we'd double every big in the league. Maybe Corbin is being more selective, opting for more single coverage.
