Kevin Love?

Kevin Love is apparently unhappy with the direction of the T'Wolves. Is there anything the Jazz shouldn't offer to get him?

he's not going anywhere for at least two more years. when he gets closer to the time when the wolves start to worry about him opting out of his player option, then we can talk. until then, i don't see him moved for anyone.

T'Wolves desperately want to pair Pau Gasol with Ricky Rubio. If the Jazz could get involved in a three team deal with the Lakers sending Pau to 'Sota for Big Al/Derrick Williams/Burks perhaps the T'Wolves would entertain Love for Pau/Millsap/Kanter/Draft picks. I'm sure Favors would be in the discussion from 'Sota's end, and I wouldn't entirely rule it out.

That's why he signed a three year deal.

Kevin Love is Deron Willams all over again. When a star doesn't sign long term with his first team for 5 full years, he is gone. Being a UCLA guy I am sure he is looking at LAL in two years.

Unhappy? Unhappy that they're getting a lot better? Love is one of those guys who's always going to be unhappy until he's on a super team in a big market... I really like that Wolves team and the direction their going. Dunno what he's so upset about.

We don't need Love. Overrated.

Kahn is a sleaze ball. A trade for LaMarcus Aldridge makes a bit of sense.

Agreed. IF anything Kevin Love is underrated. Look at all the attention Griffin gets, and Love is 100x better than Griffin ever will be.

I don't have strong feelings one way or another really. It does seem like he may put up empty stats. Isn't the T-wolves recurd much better this year with him out versus with him playing? How do you respond to that?

If you have a chance at Kevin Love, you take that chance. I doubt we ever have any chance.

Love if incredibly overrated, poor in def, horrible choker, rather than getting him we should think how to bring back AK.

Man I miss AK.
It kills me that we're okay paying Marvin $9 but we couldn't come up with a two year deal to bring back one of the best Jazz players of the past ten years.

He's only played a handful of games so the sample size is crap. But to address your point, Kevin Love has been shooting a very poor percentage and it's clear his broken hand is still bothering him. When Love is on his game he is extremely efficient and the Wolves are MUCH better.

i dont know if im right but last season his hand was ok and he still was horrible, he was bricking those shots from mid/long range like some kind loony, plus ok he is great rebounder but he is really poor defender, i still remember Booz and i dont want guy who remind him so much

Well, I can't see them wanting expiring. We would have to part with Favors and maybe some picks. How about a Favors + Burks + one of our picks next summer? Not sure if it would be enough, but Minnesota does need a SG, and Burks doesn't have much of a role here anyway. Either way, unrealistic that we could make a package for Love.
