AK-47

I just wanted to see if people on this board have been following AK and if you miss him. Its pretty clear that when AK is motivated, he's a difference-making player on the court. In 2004, he was one of the best player's I have ever seen (Im not young). Then that started to disappear when Deron came and AK got the ball less. AK seemed to be a paycheck player during the Deron era, and then he would go win Euroleague MVP before coming back to the Jazz and collecting a paycheck.

Now it seems he is hungry again. What do you guys think? Do you miss this guy?

I really wanted to re-sign him now that we've moved on from the Deron/Boozer/Memo/Sloan era because I thought he could finally get back to his old self a bit... especially after taking the year off to play in Russia.

I really miss him, and ya he's still an incredible player who can impact a game in every way. I'm glad he's doing good in Minny though.... it was really smart of the Wolves to bring in Shved with him too. Just glad he's showing everyone that he's still an amazing player.

Always going to be one of my all-time favorite players.

Everybody loved AK, problem is that when you get the big bucks you have to continue to play well.

I dont think AK's game improved much in the NBA. Which is a shame.

I too wanted him back but for less money.

I miss him.

I'd rather have him than any of Mo, Marvin or Foye.

I don't miss another team overpaying for him. Is Minny really that much better because of him? don't think so.

You haven't been watching them play then...... He's been a huge addition to that team......

Are you serious? He's been doing everything for the Wolves. Adelman called him the best off-ball wing player in the NBA and the guy that's holding the team together.

I'm likewise glad my favourite player's thriving in Minnesota. I've followed that team as closely as any non-Timberwolves fan and look forward to their emergence as a contender, perhaps even as early as this season if they can get everyone fit and in peak form at the right time. They've the coach for it, among other aspects.

Glad to see AK find a place where he is a fit. He's been very good. Unfortunate for him he didn't have this situation about 10 years ago, but I was glad to have him. He's still my favorite player in the NBA.
