Jazz are 20-19, 11-4 at home, has won 5 of the last 7
Heat are 24-11, 8-8 on the road, are 4-5 in their last 9 games.

They, of course, are a better team than us, but they aren't playing well @way. So, we can steal this one, if we have our rotation under control.

call me crazy, but i think we can win this one.

Here is the down low...

Miami was in a slump, LeBron lost his streak and they were lagging in rebounding and playing good ball.

They have played every other day on this long trip, and after us, they get one day off before playing back to back against GS and LAL. Right now MIA, is 5th if in West Coast, and they have played a lot more East Coast teams who aren' that good. This Miami team might have won the championship last year during a shorten season, but lets see how they do against a longer schedule. This upcoming 3 games in 4 days is crazy, espeically since they have been on the road for the last 3 games, only winning 1 against the Kings.

Honestly I think they used up a ton of energy to put up 128 points in 4Q's. They scored almost 40 points in two quarters, and almost 30 in the other two. If we want to win them, we need to come out hot handed, but most importantly, the best way to win big teams is to play tough defense. I think Carroll will start again, which should help us.

If Burks can run the bench and the miracle unit, and we refuse to play Watson, then this will be a good game.

Did anyone see last night, where Burks got us back ahead in the 4th during crazy tense clutch time and we were like 8 points up with less than 2 minutes, and Corbin puts in Watson, and we didn't score one more point the rest of the game after Burks awesome dunk!?!?!?, We only made FT's that barely won it....

These last two games have proven my theory that Watson is a sad excuse for a bench PG and 3rd string PG. Burks and Hayward are more capable then him, Burks is a shining example of what this team could be, I mean his efforts on the road have been amazing, which is why he scores more on the road than at home. And I am 99% sure that Watson couldn't make a shot, even if they left him open at the Free Throw line area or let him lay it up....

Burks...he is our man..Burks is just awesome. He can run the paint like Millsap, can shoot the 3 like Foye, and has the handling of Hayward. Most importantly he runs the court nicely making Al and Paul work better, and is why he is part of the miracle unit, cause his Defense is great and can make stops, and make big plays even in the 4th.
His defense is the best compared to any PG on this team. His bigger SG body helps out against smaller PG's. Most other teams have PG's who shoot, if you put watson on them, they will slaughter us in points, and they won't defend Watson cause they know he won't shoot(Tinsley was able to fix his game and stepped up as starter), and even if Watson does shoot, he won't make it.

Which is why Zone defense has killed us. Why cover your man if you know he is just gonna pass it. With Mo or Burks, you can't leave him alone for one second, or else they will shoot and make it half the 3, or jump shot. A PG is better off walking away waiting for the rebound, then to cover Watson, waiting for the rebound is better defense than covering him.

Right now i'm more confortable with Burks as 2nd unit pg better than Watson.

Even a blind donkey could figure this out, yet Corbin is stupid enough to keep letting him play.

Burks has proven himself very reliable all the time. While Watson has proven himself to a trouble maker, ineffective at offense, completely unaware of defense, poor ball handler, and completely incapable of doing anything in the 2nd half, let alone the 1st. I just can't see why we would even bother using Watson ever again?!? If it were me, I would waive him, or DNP him, and would put Murphy in over him.


Burks makes the best option. I actually think Burks makes a better starting PG than Tinsley. Usually Jazz keep their bench together, but he still moved tinsley out of bench, instead of putting burks there.

If it were me, my starters would be:

Burks, Foye, Carroll, Millsap and Jefferson

Tinsley, Hayward, Favors, Kanter being my 9 man rotation.

Clutch time "Miracle Unit" = Burks, Foye, Hayward, Millsap and Jefferson

I was thinking the same. Maybe it's better to have Tinsley with Kanter and Favors, due to he is a better distributor than Burks and he can make them play better.

A starting unit including Foye, Burks and Carroll would get eaten alive by any team smart enough to pressure the ball.

Has Miami really won only 4 more games than us? That's really hard to believe.

I'm predicting a Kanter bounce back game

I really think that Millsap and Jefferson are benefiting from having an actual point guard in the game with them. I like the look of having Burks off the bench at point guard, but would rather Tinsley start. I can't wait until the Mo/Marvin Williams era is over...and Jefferson....and Millsap.....

They also have only 11 losses while we have 19.

Of course..... they are a better team... Still we should have won some more games...

I am hoping we play well and win. I also would like to see Burkes play more. I think we can win. It should be a good game. We need to play as a team, not one on one like we did lately towards the end of a game.

If you take how good Jazz played in the last 5-7 games, and how good Heat have been in their last several games, I would put a bet on the Jazz to beat the spread of only 5 1/2 points. I would bet for the Jazz to win.

However, I was told that Tinsley will probably not play(questionable), meaning Jazz are likely to do the most stupid thing they could possibly do and put Watson at starters or give him any minutes at all......If burks get 30 minutes and runs with the starters, were looking at a chance...and a hope.

I hope the staff go over the road trip tapes and see what happened, and figure out how not to put in Watson, and look at how amazing Burks has been, and how good our starting unit: Burks, Foye, Carroll, Millsap and Jefferson, how good this is. I would do this and have Tinsley go back to his original position at bench with Hayward/Favors/Kanter.


I don't care if MIA were champions last year or the year before. However since Heat have had a chance to show what they can do this year....they have done mediocre(I expect Nets to surpass them, and Knicks), and Heat would be about 5th place in Western Conference right now, even though they have face east teams. Heat have proved something, and right now, they are not ELITE, and LeBron is not looking at a MVP, I would give Duncan it over him, with CP3, Durant and Melo as first picks....

I see this game as very winnable especially @Energy, since they are on a long road trip, their .500 on the road total, last ten games is 5-5(last ten road is also 5-5), and especially since we haven't had a home game in awhile...So there are lots of reasons why we should win, its just a matter of what team comes out....Is it the Jazz that have been winning and the Heat that has been losing, or is the jazz that runs with watson that loses and the Heat that swooped Sacramento...

LeBron and Wade are in the house, so we will have to see how this goes....They are both still capable of MVP nights, so we need to shut them down, cause they always do good here....we just need to beat them to prove a point to everyone else, that were still here, and we still are a playoff team.

Looks like Marvin and Tinsley are playing tonight......hopefully things work out...
