Millsap trade. gives us some backcourt scoring-Brooks is better now than Burks will ever be(if only AB had Kanters work ethic)Gives LA rebounding and more front scoring.

The link leads to the trade machine, but not to your trade.

LA says no. They can get more than Humphries and Bogans for Bledsoe. Although his stock will keep falling as long as he keeps sucking while CP is out.

no way LA goes for that trade. Plus they wont just give up bledsoe. Plus i dont think the jazz would be interested in marshon brooks at all, burks has room to develop more and i think if he really buys in and works on his game, he could be a better player than brooks.

LA is not interested, and we're not about to get Bledsoe for an expiring contract.

Honestly I think the Jazz would rather attempt to re-sign Millsap than trade him for Bledsoe (whose stock is dropping precipitously, by the way). I'm not saying that's the best idea, but I get the feeling that's what the FO thinks.

Why is Bledsoe's stock dropping? Last 5: 14ppg 7.4apg 3.6rpg 1.4bpg 2spg. Yes bad FG% (.380), but it's a small sample. Last two games he was awesome.

Wow, he had a nice couple of games since last I looked. Maybe the hype is justified.

A Millsap trade right now would signal a few things. First switching up the team in a big way during the stretch run pretty much confirms the Jazz are quite a ways off from making a real run in the playoffs. Which makes more sense than losing flexibility to add to this group now.
That being said you should pair Marvin Williams with Millsap if you can. The Spurs could take them both and they have a large enough expiring to absorb it. Plus they have Nando De Colo, Blair, Lorbek, picks etc.
You get back prospects. You payroll drops for the remainder of this year (Spurs take a bit more back in salary) plus of course Marvin Williams is off the books for next year.

Seems like years ago the Jazz wanted to bring S Jax in for an interview. I like Marviin Williams on the Jazz. I don't hate this trade.
