Every real Jazz born before the 90s should wear their scars proud.....Jazz had three of the greatest legends to never win a championship, in case your not old enough, Mark Eaton is the 3rd. That is 5+1 later western conference's and two finals, and zero championships. There is a reason why Jazz never made the finals till later in the 90s, which is the same reason why Jazz could never do it in the 80s(is also the same reason why Bulls couldn't do it in the 80s).
Eras come and go, and Jazz had an abrupt era that ended with Boozer, Dwill and Sloan, had they stayed together with Ak47, we might have been Championship team by now.
Now we have revamped the team with Corbin's era, completely different. Millsap and Dwill were great drafts, with proper picks, we could repeat this success, especially with the ensemble that we already have.
For those who might have forgotten, Millsap spent extensive time on the bench before ever making his way to starter. You could debate all you want, but even Millsap was as ready as Kanter and Favors at this age, for the starter role but didn't get it till much later.

I think he's talking about the time the Bulls came to town and Jerry resigned and then they traded D-Will shortly thereafter.

80s = Lakers, Pistons, Celtics and 76ers -One of the hardest era's of teams ever(in terms of how many great teams)
90's = Bulls, Rockets, Spurs and Jazz(and Knicks) -Easiest Era of any to win a championship(we blew it hard 2 times)
00's = Lakers, Spurs, Nets, and Celtics(and Pistons) -Tougher than 90's but easier than 80s(we blew 4th west conf)
Bulls have a great team, but it sure ain't filled with tough defense players like Pippens or Rodmans. Deng, Noah and Boozer might look tough in those Bulls jersey, but there not, Deng is the only non-over-rated player on this team, he is actually a current Olympian(boozer was so 2008 and 2004). We can easily pick a part this team, and go in like the Nuggets did and just slaughter them.
Advantage goes to us, for home court and 1 days rest(plus they went from 5200+ to 4200+ feet in one day). Were half lucky Rose doesn't pop up tonight nor Heinrich. But we could have been more lucky if Boozer and Noah were injured. I am afraid of Boozer having a season high tonight, like most players when facing old team. But if there is one former active player, on one team who Jazz would hate, it would be Boozer on the Bulls. I expect an ugly reception, compared to AK47's.
Utah by 3, but I already predicted this as a home loss that should be a big win.

I was talking about being 10ish years old, and having my championship taken away and being way to young to be considering suicide.....then being 11ish and having it taken away again by the same people, who seriously could have just given us one(and again way to young to be considering making Celtic Pride come true, and kidnapping Jordan). And after years of attempting to get there, it took plenty of western conference final losses to finally make it, 3 by my count.
Then of course there is the Sloan retirement which ended abruptly.....I just wish we could have kept Phil. I wish both could be part of this organization, outside of commentating and just watching.

I have major hang-ups when it come to the Bulls, not allowing myself to consider any greatness that everyone else sees. Its taken me about 15 years to look back and say I love Pippen, but I will die before I acknowledge Jordan.

Well I think we can all agree that we hate the Bulls as fans. I wonder if Corbin and Mo/Tins go crazy, and Hornacek becomes Coach and Burks becomes our starting PG.....

bad feeling about this one. Jazz need Hayward to beat good teams.

I just love when were on national television....I mean we don't got as many fans as lots of teams cause were not on national circuit every month...
Jazz are a good team, and deserve some respect every once and awhile.
Jazz are gonna bring their A game, I expect Carroll and other expring contracts to play big nights for their future sakes.

Marvin is one of the worst 2nd overall picks ever....I feel bad for ATL for wasting their pick on him. If Hayward was playing tonight, everyone in America would ask "Why the heck are they playing this loser, when they got a "Paul George" type player in Hayward"....

Yeah, I hope the Jazz can somehow move Marvin in the off-season, but I could live with him being a Jazz man another year. The only thing is he doesn't deserve 28 min a game. 15-20 would be better.
