He would be a gamble bc injury history. I would take that gamble bc he fits well with team

New Orleans wouldn't be interested in any of that. Or at least if they were, they'd be idiots. If they traded us Gordon I would assume they'd ask for one of Favors/Kanter, which I don't think we'd give. Maybe a three way?

Ball handler and can score in bunches... don't see how he hurts us, but he makes Burks irrelevant. And his contact would make it difficult to keep Hayward Favors Kanter

I read where Hornets wanted a young center bc they see Davis as a PF. Here is a trade that works.
Kanter, Big Al, Bell, Jazz #1, and GSW #1 for Gordon and Anderson.

From a fans standpoint, sure. I think management will find many ways a guy with significant injury history who is owned $45M over the next three years and shooting 40% from the field so far could hurt them.

The injury question is going to leave most folks hedging on this.... one minute you are thinking yes.... and because of his history the next minute you are concerned he's going to get hurt.
If the deal centered around Favors it would be a NO for me. If it was around Kanter I could probably get behind it.

To be an impact player you must first be on the court. I love his game but the guy never plays.
Max deal/ bad knees= we don't need it tying up that much money. IF is a huge gamble- if he continues with his health issues we would have 0 options.

This guy would probably become the most hated man in Utah considering his previous comments and injury history

4 year 58.4million. Do you really want this? Plus his health. I liked the kid as a rookie and all, but he's always getting hurt since.

I'm not sure if there is good info about Gordon's injuries right now. So who knows if he'd pass a physical... NO has been pretty mysterious about him.
But if Jefferson & Millsap aren't coming back you do have to get to the cap floor next year. I'm not sure Gordon is the GUY... but you need a GUY who can get his next year. A heathly Gordon next to Marcus Smart next year would be great... how realistic it is for him to be healthy IDK... not a doctor. And I don't think you'll know until your Docs check him out.
Evan Turner is out there... but a healthy Gordon could be a lot better.

i wouldnt touch EG. I think hes played like 40 games in last 3 years (probably a big exaggeration, but you really wanna pay the guy tons of money to be injured all the time?) id rather keep Gordon, Kanter, Burks, and Favors. I say no way to eric gordon.

Burks could also end up being better. We really have no idea what he can produce in a larger role.
